Porn Star Blake Mitchell Dies In Tragic Accident

News is still being gathered regarding the death of bisexual porn star Blake Mitchell, whose real name is Lane Rogers, but it has been confirmed by his friends and family that he has passed away at the age of 31. This year has been riddled with porn star deaths, and his coming at such a young age is devastating. Reportedly, Blake was riding his motorcycle along Sunset Blvd in Los Angeles, California, close to 3 am when he struck another vehicle. He passed away at the hospital shortly after.

A family friend posted on social media: “We are heartbroken to share that there has been a terrible accident, and Lane has passed away. The family is asking for privacy at this time. Information about a memorial will be shared soon.”

For over a decade, Blake made a name for himself in the adult industry, appearing in studio work Bel Ami, Cockyboys, Freshman, and Helix, to name a few. His charming personality and on-screen chemistry made him a quick fan favorite. Social media is erupting in comments from friends and industry folk who experienced his supportive and kind personality firsthand. He will be very much missed. He used his platform to promote bisexual awareness and has been an avid LGBTQ advocate.

Blake shared his experience of being outed and bullied as bisexual in his conservative Kentucky hometown. He used those experiences to shed light on anti-LGBTQ sentiment. He overcame many obstacles, including being expelled from high school, to make a name for himself. He worked a series of odd jobs to make ends meet. During his work at a diner, he happened to meet people who were making a good living doing webcam work. Blake joined the webcamming industry in 2014 and was quickly seen by adult industry headhunters.

Blake made his entrance into the gay adult scene by signing on as an exclusive for Helix Studios in 2014. His star immediately began to rise, and he was nominated and won a number of industry awards. In 2018, he embarked on a national tour for the book His Own Way Out, an autobiography based on his life.

In addition to his porn career, Blake became very popular on social media, sharing snippets of his life on Twitch and YouTube, amassing quite a following. He was always very honest and open about his relationships, dating in the porn world, and feeling lonely at times. By 2019, he decided to go by his legal name, Lane Rogers, no longer hiding behind an identity. He did keep his OnlyFans under the name of Blake Mitchell.

Recently, Lane pursued being an equestrian, going from a complete newbie to competing as a novice. He also continued his education.
