Is there any queer person who has not seen the Rocky Horror Picture Show? Well, the stage play that started it all is heading to Broadway in a reboot. Who oh who could fill those Tim Curry heels to play the iconic Dr. Frank-N-Furter? The role has been given to the studly queer actor Luke Evans. This will mark the Broadway debut for Luke. We know that Luke can sign and dance. He played Gaston in the live-action version of Beauty and the Beast (we wish he were in the porn version Booty and the Beast), and he appeared on the West End in Rent and Avenue Q. Is there anything his hunk of man can't do?

This stage version of the Rocky Horror Show will be directed by Sam Pinkleton, responsible for the hit show running right now, Oh, Mary! Luke will take the stage at the iconic Studio 54 with previews starting in March. Sam made a statement about the new production, "We hope to do at Studio 54 what The Rocky Horror Show has done for people around the world for decades, open a dimension to another possible reality.” We are currently shivering with antici...pation.

Even the original creator of Rocky Horror, Richard O'Brien, is excited. He made a statement as well, “It is music to my ears to hear that a cast of very fine actors is on its way to NYC. Break out the fishnets and let’s have a party.” We are anxiously awaiting more casting news. As of yet, no other cast members have been announced.

Of course, this Broadway announcement just gives us an excuse to look back at Luke Evans' skin-baring scenes. He's got a nice booty that we'd love to explore. Luke is not shy at all!
