Hottie Out Speedskater Conor McDermott-Mostowy Just Got Closer to the Olympics
The number of out queer athletes just keeps increasing, and we are loving it! Team USA speedskater has been making the rounds, raising money to get to the Milan 2026 Olympics. On the athlete's side, he just got a whole lot closer to the Olympics by his recent win at the US Championships. This studly athlete won the silver and bronze, keeping that visibility for LGBTQ Olympians going strong. We are such fans of his activism, and we are also unashamedly fans of his social media, especially when he posts a thirst trap.
Are you familiar with Conor McDermott-Mostowy? Take a look.

Conor came out publicly in 2021, directly after winning the gold at the US Championships. Conor came from a supportive family and community network, and he never felt the need to address his sexuality as a leading factor in his career, but he also decided to remain honest if a reporter asked him. Outsports asked him to do an interview, and so he did, publicly coming out in the process. He told Outsports, “I don’t want to talk about being gay, because there’s a stereotype that gay guys aren’t athletic, and I don’t want that to be held against me or used to justify a bad result. I’ve been uncomfortable with that. But I feel like at this point, no one can say anything.”

He went on to say, “If a happy coming-out story, a happy athletic story, can help someone, that’s great. And also to put myself out there. If anyone had ever wondered if I’m gay, now they’ll know. If anyone feels uncomfortable asking me, they don’t have to ask me. I can put myself out there and kind of go back to focusing on skating.”
Bulge alert!

He's also found love. He has been dating Dylan Beyer, and the two share cute moments together on social media. No, we aren't jealous at all. Sigh.

Booty alert! This BTS moment with Conor turned into a show of his Spandex-clad rear end.
