AS Monaco Squad Had To Strip Down To Their Underwear Mid-Flight

Football (soccer to us) team AS Monaco (officially Association Sportive de Monaco Football Club) made headlines this weekend, not for their playing but for their underwear. Even though the guys made light of the situation and seemed to be frolicking, the team's manager deemed the hot a safety hazard and made the decision to ground the plane.

The team took another flight on Thursday morning to make it on time for the evening's competition. This is the second time the team has had to take a flight the same day as a competition. Unfortunately, this did not bode well for AS Monaca, and they were creamed (um, yes, we used the word creamed) by Club Brugge. Sports news outlets said the difference in intensity between the two teams was just too unbalanced. Club Brugge beat AS Monaco 4 to 1. Maybe AS Monaco were still overheated; maybe they would have played better if they were just in their underwear.

Kudos to AS Monaco for still showing up, despite the travel upset. We still love watching this team and can still see their bulges, even under their uniforms.
