The Hot Sweaty Queer Male Athletes of the 2025 World Championships in Tokyo
Today marks the end of the World Athletics Championships in Tokyo, beginning earlier this month on September 13th. As the title suggests, athletes from all over the globe have come together to compete in the most important track and field event outside of the Olympics. This year, 13 of those athletes are openly LGBTQ. There were only 9 at the last World Championships (held in Budapest in 2023). Of course, our eyes are on the male athletes. We want to pay homage to the hours of training these studs go through. It is only fair that we honor their hot bodies and skillful sports abilities by oogling them. LOL. Here are some of our favorite male athletes who took part this year. Woof!
Ramsey Angela
Representing the queer community is Olympic silver medalist Ramsey Angela. He came out as queer with the statement, “Be who you are and don’t be ashamed of it.” This year, he competed for his third World Championships, placing 8th out of 9 in last week's 4x400m final. As a thirst trap, we don't mind stalking this athlete on Instagram one bit. He is a hunk of man, and we love to see him moving!

Seamus Derbyshire
If you like your male athletes more on the twunk side, Seamus is for you! This year marks his World Championship debut. He gained social media fame after displaying his queer personality on the track. Fittingly, he set a personal best during Pride month. He finished 7th out of nine in the final heat before the semi-finals.

Nico Young
Nico has made a lot of headway when it comes to queer representation for US athletes. He holds the title for the second-fastest outdoor time in the world this year, and is the first openly gay man to win a U.S. track title. His career is peppered with accolades and wins. For this year's Championships, he earned the top place for an American, coming in 5th place in the 10,000m.
