Undiscovered Dick: Justin "Meatball" Russo
The adult industry is always ready to welcome another sexy Italian onto the scene, and we have a doozy with newcomer Justin "Meatball" Russo. This New York native has the heart of an angel and the sex drive of a devil. An especially sensitive guy and a talented visual artist, Meatball is taking an unusually personal and intimate approach to his content. This guy is going to make waves in the business, and we have the scoop with his first online interview.

Let's start with a few basics: Name? Age? Hometown? Occupation? Relationship Status?
Justin T. Russo — but everyone calls me Meatball. 39 (the art of sex can be studied, mastered, and like a fine wine, skill sets only age better). New York City. Illustrator, erotic archivist, ombudsman, and the man who turns sex into a craft. Single.
How did you create your stage name?
Sunday breakfasts in my family were meatballs for the gravy. It became shorthand for appetite, comfort, and heat. It stuck because it’s the truest thing about me — warmth, weight, flavour, and always more than you expected.
Could you share with us some of your Italian New York background and upbringing?
I grew up in a very New York Italian household. Respect wasn’t a suggestion, kindness was our currency, and love was loud. My grandmother loved it like it was her full-time job — no conditions, no waiting for the “perfect” moment. My father raised me to share my feelings because you never know if you’ll get the chance again. We clashed, but he understood me best. He took his life 8 years ago. The day before he died, he told me, “You’re twice the man I’ll ever be… because you are a good person who loves purely.” That’s my compass now.
What do you think makes Italian Men so sexy?
Passion. Intensity. Romance. And everything you see is owed to spaghetti.

And how did this lead to the world of Gay Porn?
After my father’s death, I threw myself into art curation, my social life, countless men, my artwork, and even a TV show (Fire Island on Logo). My “golden boy” life eventually unraveled after years of running full throttle. By 2024, I had fallen into deep depression and addiction and tried to end my own life.
Recovery made me one whole man for the first time. I stopped bending myself to other people’s comfort. I owned my sexuality like Ava Gardner owned a room — unapologetic, lusty, unfinished. I left whispers like Lauren Bacall, impressions like Garbo, and carried the silkiness of Rita Hayworth. That’s when I became Meatball.
I also wasn’t seeing what I wanted in porn: realism, connective passion, sex as a craft. So I made it myself.
Do you think coming to the adult industry later has any advantages or disadvantages?
The advantage is knowing exactly who I am and what I want to put on film. No guesswork, no pretending. The disadvantage? You’re stepping into a space dominated by younger men — but I’ve lived enough to bring something they can’t fake: my wit, my dexterity, myself.
Do you have ambitions to do Studio content?
Initially, I was opposed, but I came to see that gay studio porn is the studio system of classic films. If I’m given some artistic license, I’m game.
Your content creation seems to be a deeply personal thing for you. You even list them as “Diary Entries.”Â
Because they’re real. Not “content,” not scenarios built to sell. They’re timestamps in my life. Sweat, rhythm, feeling — captured because they happened, not because they were scripted.
You are also a visual artist. Tell us about your illustration and animation work.
I’m a visual artist first. I draw my lovers, my encounters, my fantasies — in vintage-inspired styles that carry the glamour and ache of another era. Much of my work is keeping the legacy of the Golden Age alive, but through a queer lens.
Ultimately, I fuck like I draw: slow, filthy, intentional.

Are there any specific acts or thing(s) you haven’t yet done on film (or in life) that you still want to try?
A fully romantic, slow-burn scene that turns into an unapologetic, unchoreographed orgy… at least on film.
Who are some performers whom you want to work with? Why?
Men who bring truth into the room — whether they’re seasoned performers or just a stranger I’ll never forget.
Any porn star heroes?
Nick Capra guided me early on — a true gem of a man. He treated me like Betty Grable welcoming Monroe: making room for new talent. In all sincerity, we are very simpatico.
And beyond that, the ones who were more than a cumshot. Jack Wrangler. François Sagat. Performers whose presence was the point.
Tell us a little bit about yourself outside of porn. Interests? Hobbies? Beliefs? Passions?
I live like a gigolo during the Golden Age of Cinema — jazz records, disco, vintage menswear. My home is a 1946 den of gentlemanly iniquity. And yes, I’m always chasing the perfect plate of carbonara.
Who is the real Meatball?
The man in my Sniffies bio: Illustrator bro. Slutpuppy romantic pig. Love-drunk, cock-hungry, and a filthy flip. I draw dicks, wreck holes, and fuck like it’s a craft — tender, focused, boyfriend-trained. Always aching, never empty. I moan with heart, kiss like a scene, and worship while buried in you. Sex is breath, sweat, rhythm, and feeling. You’ll leave dripping — I’ll leave echoing in your chest.
And the man in my manifesto: Lust. Legacy. Linework. I am not content. I am canon. I’m part slut puppy, part romantic pig, part torch singer with cum on his lips. I don’t need your applause. I need your attention. And maybe your
How do you define a true “Porn Star”?
Someone who brings their whole self — history, scars, humour — and leaves you changed for having seen them.
Are you going to become one?
If it means making anyone feel joy and comfort in their sexuality and themselves, then I’ll aim for the Milky Way.
What is your favorite thing about sex?
Becoming one with someone(s) — that breathless, wordless space where you can’t tell where you end and they begin. And laughing. You need some absurdity.
