New England Patriots Male Cheerleaders Standing Strong (& Sexy)

The straights just can't stop their obsession with us gays! Last week, football fans took to social media to blame the decline of the New England Patriots on adding male cheerleaders to its roster. The Patriots added Steven Sonntag and Driss Dallahi to their cheerleading roster in 2019, months after winning Super Bowl 2019. They haven't won since. In fact, it's been a bit of a mess for the team. Tom Brady left the team (winning the next year's Super Bowl for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers), and the team hasn't won any NFL playoff game since. Blame the male cheerleaders!

The fact is, the NFL has included male cheerleaders since 2018. Former Patriots cheerleader Steven Sonntag talked to Outsports, with a very cheeky interview where he addresses the hilarity of blaming a team's downfall on the cheerleaders. He told Outsports, “It will be the eighth season with male cheerleaders. We’ve moved past the hate. There have been multiple male cheerleaders at Super Bowls. You have to have your head in the ground to not know this."

He also went on to joke that he never once dropped a pass during a game. Yassss, queen! Other teams with male cheerleaders have been doing well, including the Los Angeles Rams, Philadelphia Eagles, and San Francisco 49ers. Patriot season ticket holders have taken to X (Twitter) to claim they would not be renewing their tickets because of the presence of male cheerleaders. Um, maybe it's because the team sucks right now. Sonntag told Outsports, “If you do that, you’re not an NFL fan.” Sonntag is out and proud, and we thank him for his representation.

As of right now, the only male cheerleader on the Patriots is Jeremy Greer, also out and proud.

He hails from Houston and got his BFA in Modern Dance. He is listed as a rookie for the team.

We are sending Jeremy all the strength and support. Having to deal with these negative fan comments must be exhausting. We will be rooting for him and hope these hateful fans get with it. Male cheerleaders are here to say, maybe they should focus on their team's skills. Bloop!
