Hot soccer stud Josh Cavallo came out in 2021, taking his place as one of the few out pro soccer players. For the last four years, he's been playing with the Australian team, Adelaide United. And have loved every second of him on the field. He's not just a hot guy on the field; he also uses his platform to inspire LGBTQ activism.

For Pride season, Josh posted the following on his IG: "It’s all fun and games to celebrate pride with us but when our lives are on the line. Where are you now? We are now discussing the existence of our lives. From everyone on the planet, here we are, queer people and we don’t stand by this bullshit! Pay attention. I, along with my community, don’t feel shy of who we are. It is abhorrent to imprison someone in 2024 for their identity, and this practice has to end. I couldn’t be more comfortable and prouder in my skin and let me continue to tell you something that’s not going to change. This is me ️‍"

Josh was originally interested in tennis, but fell in love with soccer after kicking the ball around with his brother. At the age of 15, he was scouted by a national program and received a scholarship from Melbourne Victory. He received Adelaide United's A-League Rising Star award after a successful 2020–21 campaign.

This summer, Josh astonished his fans as he announced that he was leaving Australia and heading to the UK, making a major life change. He has since started playing with English National League North side Peterborough Sports.

Coming out was a relief to Josh, who stated that he was all smiles and got a good night's sleep after doing so. He was firmly supported by his teammates and received encouraging messages from other soccer players in the industry.
