Austin Wolf To Plead Guilty To Guilty To Horrible Charges

The adult industry was shook last June as popular gay porn star Austin Wolf was arrested on ch*ld pornography charges. After a year and 11 court-approved continuances, he will appear in court this Friday. In a letter from his defense attorney, it states that he “intends to plead guilty to a mandatory minimum charge with a significant advisory range under the United States Sentencing Guidelines.” This type of pornography charge carries a mandatory prison sentence.

Wolf has spent the last year at the Metropolitan Detention Center, Brooklyn, without bond. The court continuances were granted due to the fact that both the prosecution and defense were working together. Wolf, whose legal name is Justin Heath Smith, is charged with exchanging hundreds of videos of illegal porn. Reportedly, he was using Telegram to exchange these videos, and they were found on an SD card when his apartment was raided in an undercover operation by the Feds. Pretty hard to fight these allegations.

Given the government attacks on the adult and the queer industry, a case like this doesn't look good for either community. Who knows how long Wolf had allegedly been sharing this kind of material? After his arrest, many from the adult industry came out in an attack on his personality and his actions. Many stated that they were unsurprised. His brand was pretty much built based on him filming adult content with younger-looking models, sometimes very young-looking. Still, he became an extremely lucrative content creator, traveling and showing off a glitzy lifestyle. When the news hit that he was arrested last year, Pornhub immediately deleted his content. Many of his past costars from OnlyFans also deleted scenes filmed with him. If everyone in the industry had a pretty good inkling that he was into this kind of material, how come it took so long before someone looked into it? Reportedly, he sent material that was pretty damning to an undercover agent, sparking the raid. Allegedly, the material was extremely graphic and pushed the boundaries of illegal material.

To date, Austin Wolf has not made any public comment about the case. His defense team says that the conditions at Metropolitan Detention Center have not been good and that the charges have yet to be proven. His intention to plead guilty will occur this Friday at 11:25 am in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York. Usually, when an investigation like this happens, the defendant will work with the Feds to report more criminals, so maybe Wolf has been used to identify more people in this ring. Him being well-known in the adult industry, there might be others in the industry out there who have also participated, but that's just a speculation. It will be interesting to see how this all plays out.
