Y'all, these are just my opinions, so don't go crying to the editors or owners of this site. Relax. It'll all be over soon.
Oh my gawd, I can't believe I'm about to give this obnoxious waste of space more traction, but here ya go. Because, in the smallest and most misguided way, he actually does have the smallest of points to make. And that's what makes me go "Hhmmm." But yes, he's still an awful person. I'm speaking, of course, about the latest blip of a buzz in the White House's "new media" press room, and that's "homocon former RFK advisor and podcaster Link Lauren" as reported on by the awesome JoeMyGod.
Due to his grotesque shock of off-brand-bleached hair gelled back and tighter than an Orlando retiree's face, he was recently dubbed "MAGA Malfoy." He's this year's Milo Yiannopoulos, a nauseating political provocateur who, I'm guessing, got kicked out of too many White (power) parties, so he needs to amass his much-needed attention through queer community contradictory politics and second-rate podcasting. And it must be working for him cuz he got the ear...the good one...of our current president. No, not Stephen Miller, the other one.

So, here's what he said in a recent Fox News interview, and yer boy Hank here is just gonna let his words speak for themselves:
When they say LGBT support for President Trump may have dipped a little bit in this last election, Iām not really sure because he has the support of most normal gays that I talk to, and most gay people are tired of being lumped in with the non-binary LGBTQIA R2D2 nonsense. I donāt need to constantly feel like Iām part of this LGBTQ community and go out and wave a flag on Fifth Avenue as naked, non-binary people come traipsing down the street.
Recently, especially in 2024, when his numbers went down a bit, itās the āTā in the LGBTQ community thatās largely responsible for that. The difference is that Harris was a proven California radical who lacked so much substance and charisma as a person that only her radicalism stood out. I might be gay, but Iām not brain-dead.
Talked to Fox News about President Trumpās support among LGBT folks and how most ānormal gaysā support his agenda and just want common sense.@MizellPreston @FoxNews https://t.co/10nIOwWMCH

Okay. Let's go. he casts doubt that Trump's support in the community "dipped a little," and then he says, "Recently...when his numbers dipped a little..." So, immediately, you can discount pretty much as "fact" anything he's saying. Watch him throw the trans community under the bus by blaming them for that "dip", as if he had much support in the community to begin with. Then he goes after Kamala Harris, the lowest hanging fruit to grab at when talking to Fox and the MAGA base. This simply proves how utterly lazy he is as a provocative spin monster. Emphasis on "monster."
But earlier I said he sorta kinda had a point, and it's where I am divided just a smidge from the "mainstream" queer community. I do believe that there are more Trump supporters in the gay community than we want to think about. Just look at the comments on his posts. Yes, some queers support Trump. And those queers are old, wealthier, white people whoĀ really want to maintain their previous, status-quo-driven lifestyle. They want things to remain comfortable and quiet. They will profess to being dismayed at best by the policies affecting brown people, but that's only because they don't want their hot gardener to go away.
And do I think that more older queers exist than we'd feel comfortable with who feel a certain negative way that the surge in discussions about trans folks has, as they might put it, hijacked the community's conversations? Absolutely. I will fully admit to being one of those older queers who has thought this, with some dismay. What, is everybody trans or non-binary now?! Yes, many times I feel like the dinosaur no one wants to hear from, cuz I'm just an old white gay cis dude. But then I remember that we are not the most at risk anymore! We're still relevant with a needed place at the table, but there are others who have, rightfully so, inserted themselves into the conversation, demanded their space, who have so much more to lose. And we need to recognize that. At my age, I'm still learning and growing, realizing when I need to keep my mouth shut and gain knowledge.
Unfortunately, kids like Lauren here and the "normal gays" he purports to be in close conversation with want to squash the louder voices. Because they create discomfort and turmoil and upset the apple cart. They are this generation's ACT=UP when they performed die-ins in NYC churches on Easter Sunday to protest their friends dying, and many non-confrontational gays who wanted to simply work within the system Ā were saying, "No, now, that's gone too far."
Well, sorry, but as they say, Stonewall was a riot, not a peaceful rally.
Watch the cringeworthy and embarrassing manner in which he unflichingly not only kisses the White House's ass with this performance, but straight up tosses Karoline Leavett's salad:
Weāve got MAGA Draco Malfoy up in the briefing fluffing for White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt.

But as one of the few dissenting commenters on his earlier post says, "Hey, Malfoy. Like Tennessee Williams said, 'an ef-word is a homosexual gentleman that's just left the room". You're useful, but still nothing but an ef-word to the reich."
