Fashion Tips for Pride
Pride season officially begins this week! Here at Fleshbot Gay HQ, we are getting ready for Weho Pride, then LA Pride. World Pride is around the corner, and many cities are starting off June with a bang with local Pride events. We know that this year, it is important to show up and be seen! No matter what is happening politically, we STILL have Pride! Well, we want all of our fellow gays to turn out and look good. We have gathered some quick tips on putting your fashion together, whether you are a femme twink wanting to bathe in gay, or you're the accountant who feels more comfortable in a tie. There are some simple things you can do to bump your pussy up while maintaining your usual style. We got you, boo!
Comfort Can Be Sexy
Many of us gays believe that tighter is better. Yes, we want to show off our butts and bulges and while tight might look hot, the reality is, you'll probably be at Pride for a few hours, sometimes even a whole day and night. Thankfully, there are plenty of clothes on the market that can offer comfort and sexiness at the same time. Most times, you'll be out in the heat, and tight outfits can lead to fatigue and overheating. Keep it cool with some casual wear with gay flair. Joggers are now cut tight and even have zippers in the back for easy, um, access. Short shorts are totally in, and while they can be super short, they don't have to be so tight you cut off circulation to your balls. A hot pair of sweatpants or shorts can also show off a freeballing bulge, if you want to show off a bit. Pride fashion says you can cut off any shirt to make it a crop top. It keeps you cool with air flowing, and you can show off that six-pack you've been starving yourself for. Just keep in mind how practical your outfit needs to be to last in super crowded spaces for hours on end. Many gay-owned casual fashion lines are keeping it sexy.

Go Big or Go Home
Many of us have things in our closets that we've been too bashful to actually wear out. Pride is not the time to be shy. Yes, we said comfort is key, but Pride is also that opportunity to get crazy with your fashion. Want to wear a wig? Do it. How about a harness? Why not? Leather pants? Yes, please! Take a chance. Anything and everything goes, and every fashion is welcome under the Pride flag. Also, for some of us who have some extra weight this season. Don't have a six pack? Who cares. Wear what you want. Be adventurous and give yourself a little thrill with your fashion. Push the envelope, we are celebrating freedom.

Pride Flags
Pride flags are part of Pride, period. There has been talk that Pride flags have become dated or old school. Too bad, it is part of our history, and it is part of our celebration. You for sure should definitely include a Pride flag somehow. Especially when some states are trying to ban Pride flags altogether.

Make A Statement
During Pride season, there is tons of media coverage. From big media outlets to being caught in other people's selfies, there are many ways that your image will probably be captured somehow. Some of us want to use this Pride to make a statement. You can make a simple statement with a simple, bold shirt. Use your fashion and get your message out!

Just A Dash
Some of us don't feel comfortable getting in full Pride fashion. Hey, even accessories can do the trick. Necklaces, Pride laces, colorful wristbands, hats, headbands, sunglasses...you can add a dash of flair to any outfit, whether you dress like a nun or like a street walker. And for those of us gay emos out there, keep the all black outfit, that's fine, but add some Pride color with your accessories. Color the world with the rainbow!
Be Respectful
We aren't telling anyone to limit their slut era, especially during Pride. But one thing to keep in mind is what is appropriate for the event. Pride parties at the Eagle? Let it all hang out in your leather jock. Pride concert with Lizzo? Get that club wear out! But also keep in mind exactly what you are showing off in shared spaces at family-friendly events. Pride parades tend to gather people of all ages, and yes, we often see the go-go boy contingent and leather studs in their outfits, but be careful that you are dick isn't hanging out or that ass is fully bare in your fashion choice. You wouldn't wear a Speedo to a funeral. Or would you? We aren't trying to curb anyone's celebration of sexuality, but there is a time and place for everything, and there are plenty of Pride opportunities to break out your kink fashion, maybe just not at 10 am in the local news.

At the end of the day, be yourself, unabashedly and unapologetically. That can look like whatever you want it to. Feel comfortable in a suit and tie? Rock it! Feel comfortable in sweats and a t-shirt? Rock it! Want to do drag? Great! It's about you in your place in Pride, so remain true to you, but it's okay to bump your pussy up!
