Adult Film Star Colton Ford Has Passed

News hit social media today that veteran adult film star and pop singer Colton Ford has died at the age of 62. According to friends close to him, Colton, Glenn Soukesian, was involved in a tragic hiking accident over the weekend and passed away on Monday. Porn director and long time collaborator with Colton, Chi Chi La Rue, made a statement on their Facebook:

Colton got his start in the porn industry in 2001 at the age of 39. He appeared in only about a dozen porn films, but he became a fan favorite and a legend in the industry. He was known for his muscled body, winning smile, and a great ass. Those who got to work with him or meet him know that he was a gentle giant with a great personality. He earned a Grabby and GayVN award for his work in the industry.

He was also a musician and worked in the music industry prior to getting into porn. He started doing gigs in nightclubs and dinner theatre at the young age of 18. He was discovered during his performances and was brought in to join a jazz quartet, singing commercial jingles, and getting signed by record labels.

Colton was the subject of the 2005 documentary film Naked Fame, which covered his transition from the adult industry to mainstream club/dance music. He also co-starred for three seasons on the TV series The Lair for hereTV. He earned praise for his acting abilities. Getting back to his musical roots, he released a long list of singles and albums, making it to the Billboard charts. He appeared in Cyndi Lauper's video, "Into The Nightlife," and also performed on her 2008 True Colors Tour. Ford was listed in AfterElton.com's "Top 50 Gay Male Musicians."

In 2011, he took to the stage, making his off-Broadway debut in the musical Little House on the Ferry, a gay love story that took place in Fire Island. There was a cast recording made of the production. He took to the stage again in 2014 for the Los Angeles production of And All The Dead, Lie Down.

In the last couple of years, he turned to OnlyFans to release some new music with erotic videos. He matured like a fine wine and certainly still had the goods. His fans were quite happy.

In an interview with Watermark Online, he stated: “There’s a lot of stuff that I’ve been able to do in the 40 years I’ve been in the industry. I’m happy to still be doing it.”
