The Realities of Anal Bleaching

We had thought male anal bleaching was a passing fad. Apparently, it is not. This last week, we found out three in our gay friend circle have had their anus bleached in the last couple of months. We started asking around and found out that the procedure is still very much in demand among males. Who knew? So we did a dive into the world of ana bleaching to bring you some things you should keep in mind if you've always been interested in getting it done.

Anal bleaching started in West Hollywood (gay mecca) as early as 2005. Some men, probably propagated by seeing beautiful holes in gay porn, felt that their butt holes were too dark, or were strangerly darker than the ones they were seeing in porn or with their hookups. Are we really that nervous about our body image that even our holes are not off limits? We digress.

Simply put, anal bleaching is having creams, or even lasers, on the skin around your hole to lighten it up. The procedure prohibits melanin production, making the skin appear lighter. And sorry, gays, the procedure is only temporary. If you like a super pink hole, you will need to go back for more treatments. Spread 'em! Also, if you are a nudist or like sunbathing in the nude, the sun's rays can cause your newly bleached skin to turn even darker than when you went in in the first place, so after a treatment, don't spread your cheeks under a blazing sun.

To maintain that pink, you might want to apply at-home creams on the regular. Also, it is recommended to use wet wipes after going #2 rather than regular toilet paper. The gross part is, using toilet paper may spread stuff over the bleached area and stain it.

A word of caution. Don't go to some cheap place to have it done. It should be applied by someone who knows what they are doing, as the procedure can cause irritation and burning, not to mention permanent scarring in some really bad cases.

Some guys have even don't anal bleaching at home. That is not recommended. If there is any pain at all, you should stop and wash off immediately. As with any part of the skin, some guys can react differently than others. Certain bleaching products have harsher chemicals in them and should be avoided. If you have sensitive skin, this is probably not something you want to attempt. How do you get a refund on an anal bleaching session?

If you want our opinion, and you didn't ask for it, don't take the risk. Have you ever said no to rimming a hot bubble butt because the hole was too dark? How can you even tell in the backroom or in the alley? We joke, but we don't think the risk of a wrecked butt hole is worth it. If anything, try a small area first and see how you react.

Have you tried anal bleaching? Was it worth it?
