Feeling the heat, many of us are ready for a Spring romance before we jump into Slutty Summer with Speedos. Some of us are feeling the effects of the economy on our wallets, so we are dropping some cute gay dating ideas for the Spring that you can do on the luxury or budget-conscious side. Here's some fun and easy ideas to woe your boo.

Backyard Action

No, we didn't say backdoor action, we said backyard action! With warmer nights, all you need is an affordable projector from Amazon, a white sheet, a blanket, some snacks and booze, and you have the makings for your own backyard movie viewing session. Surprise your man with his favorite movie (no, not porn if you have nosy neighbors), under the stars and under a blanket, it is romantic and a throwback to the old sleepover days of our youth. Plan out his favorite snacks, get a bottle of champagne, and see how long you can watch the movie before his hands slide up your shorts. It's a cute gay date in the back of your own house.

Picnic

This sounds cliche and cheezy, but a nice picnic out in the beautiful sun and among the outdoors is a really nice escape from the busyness of life and the stress of the hustle and bustle. Leave your phones behind and spend some quality time together. Your food of choice can be fanciful (most grocery stores even sell ready-to-go picnic bags), or drive by your guilty pleasure fast food and stock up. You can jump in the car and drive out to a winery and really make it a romantic weekend, or you can head to your local wine bar and do a night or day of tasting. Make sure you Uber so you can enjoy a lot of wine. Doing wine tasting is fun way to get boozy with your boo, and tasting different wines will open your sense up in a unique way, and then after you can jump into bed for a hot romp, inhibited from all the wine.

Camping

Camping means something different for everyone. Some of us gays actually like the roughness of real camping, fishing and hiking, and all. Some of us like the glamping experience, where the camping experience is a bit fancier. But still, going on a weekend camping trip is a great way to get away from the noise and clutter of the city and really take the opportunity to focus on your man out in the wilderness. Work together to pitch your tent (ha ha), cook your food, and set up camp. Working together to set up your base will open up communication and bonding. Plus, having sex out under the stars is highly recommended.

Spa Day

You can go to a fancy spa, or literally head to CVS or even the Dollar Store and stock up on face masks, foot scrubs, lotions, etc. Take turns massaging and applying beauty regimens on each other. Then sit back with some light music, and enjoy some quiet and sensual time while working on those crow's feet.

Farmer's Market/Swap Meet 

Put on a casual Spring outfit and head out to your local Farmer's Market or Swap Meet. Take your time getting a good walk in and going from booth to booth, seeing what everyone has to offer. Buy some things for the other, that they would never get for themselves. You never know what kind of fun oddities or food you will run into. It is low-key, it is something different than going to the club, and it gets you out of the house and under the sun. If that isn't really your scene, try going to an art walk.

Nursery/Gardening

Spring is all about renewal and fresh flowers. Go out and head to your local nursery, whether you live in an apartment, a condo, or a house, there's always room for flowers or plants. Pick out a new set of flowers or plants for the other, and make some space in your living spaces for some fresh florals. Redo your garden if you have one, or put some orchids and plants around the house. It will add some color and life.

Fashion

Ok, this one is kind of sassy and playful. We all have those clothing items that our boo insists on wearing, even though we can't stand it. Those old stained jeans that he thinks are comfy, that dumb hat he got for free, that grubby shorts that are way too baggy, or...gulp...even Crocs. Your Spring cleaning challenge is to pick one (or more) items of clothing that you get to veto from your partner's closet, he gets to do the same, so be gentle. Then head out to a local men's store and you get to pick an entirely new outfit for the other. They have to wear that outfit out to dinner and keep it in their closet. Springtime fashion renewal!

Spring Fling

This next one isn't for all couples, just the fun, horny ones. Get up the courage and decide to be a bit sexy. Head out to your local nude beach, or find a nude hiking group (they are every where), and go out and show if all off with your boo. It's daring, it's different, and it's delicious!
