ASGmax Gets Into Sexy AI Roleplay, We Got the Scoop!

Gay adult studio empire ASGmax has entered the AI scene with its unveiling of ASGmax Roleplay. Users are now able to chat one-on-one with a huge variety of AI characters and scenarios. ASGmax Roleplay has rolled out with over 120 AI characters, representing all of your gay fantasies. Football players, cops, twinks, muscle guys, and whatever your pleasure is. New characters will be released each week. You can engage in any kind of fantasy and scenario you want, all powered by AI. The feature is automatically included in an ASGmax membership.

We chatted with one of the masterminds behind ASGmax Roleplay, Jeremy Babock, who also serves as the Chief Creative Officer for ASGmax, about how they put the platform together, the benefits of AI, changes in porn trends, and what the future of the adult industry looks like.

What inspired ASGmax to get into the world of AI?

An opportunity came along for us to add this chat feature to our site, and we were all pretty instantly excited. It wasn’t so much the “AI” of it all as being able to add another form of entertainment to our site. A really unique way to play out sexual fantasies.

There seems to be a love/hate relationship in the adult industry regarding AI. Some say AI will replace real actors/directors. What are your thoughts on this?

It’s really not something I’m worried about at all in our industry. While AI is able to imitate some forms of art, I think it’s lacking the humanity behind the content. I’m sure AI porn will be in front of us sooner than later, but I think of it more as high end animation than a way to replace video content. It’ll probably have a certain audience, but I think it’ll lack authenticity. Similar to comparing CGI to practical effects, in my mind.

What does AI Roleplay offer users that regular porn cannot?

It’s like finding yourself at the center of the story, and you’re only limited by your own imagination. This immersion is truly unique and can be wildly entertaining. It’s engaged entertainment, where regular porn is a more passive experience.

How did your team develop your AI characters and their responses?

All of the characters on ASGmax are unique to our site. We try to build a handful each week, to keep things fresh and evolving. So far, it’s really been a matter of providing characters and situations that mimic the content you’ll find on our site. That’s been a really strong starting point, and gives our members a chance to connect with a lot of the content in a new way. Watching a scenario unfold in a scene, and then being able to have it unfold in different ways when they’re the main character in the action.

In terms of the technology and responses, we’re using a platform that is being developed by SpicychatAI, then adapting it to suit our audience.

How did you test the roleplay platform out?

We just started making characters and chatting with them. It seems like we learn a little more with every character we create. There’s so much nuance in whether they play hard to get, their personality traits, and how fully they’ll adhere to their character arc.

What kind of user is a good candidate for AI roleplay?

One of the major goals for ASGmax is to provide the best in gay adult entertainment. Obviously, the porn will always be the main stimulant, but we aim to build fantasy through thoughtful story telling and different mediums for the content. Anyone who loves the stories and the immersion into the fantasy of the content is going to LOVE this chat space. It’s escapism at its best.

What sets ASGmax roleplay apart from other gay AI platforms?

All of the characters on ASGmax Roleplay are unique to our site. You can only chat with them here. These characters are being crafted by the same creative minds behind our content, so you’re going to see a lot of the same themes and concepts that make our videos so enjoyable.

What advice do you have for someone using AI roleplay for the first time?

Just dive right in! Pick a character or scenario that sounds like a fun starting point and just start chatting. From there, they can really go anyplace, so you can let the character suggest where the story goes, or you can guide it there yourself. And if you’re not feeling it, try another character. We currently have over 130, with more added weekly.

What do you think the future of AI in the adult industry looks like?

I like to think of AI as a tool that can help enrich existing pieces of our digital lives, instead of getting overwhelmed by the negative possibilities. In terms of adult entertainment, maybe we get to a point where you can specify two AI model types you want to see paired together, and suggest positions and acts. Then generate that content, custom-made for you. Our members can be VERY specific with what they wish they could see, so maybe these pieces can someday exist to deliver that ‘perfect’ piece of content. Beyond that, I really do think that living, breathing humans are going to make the sexiest content, both in front and behind the cameras. So let’s find ways to enjoy both!

In a broader view, it seems the government has been after the adult industry. How has ASGmax overcome some of the challenges?

It’s the endless struggle of the studio side of the industry. A constantly moving target that we’re always striving to catch. Lately, we’ve put a lot of work into adhering to the new age-verification laws and SFW portals for all of our sites.

Have you seen a shift in what audiences want to see in their porn?

I’ve only been in the industry for 6 years now, but I feel like I’ve seen several significant shifts already. Covid really fueled a migration to Fan Sites that affected our casting significantly. I feel like we had an increase in the overall number of models, but a sharp decline in the “gay for pay” prospects, as they suddenly had this platform to sell themselves without bending their sexuality. Since then, we’ve also seen a decrease in the interest in G4P models. So… did the audiences change - or did the casting change and audiences followed? Secondarily, on this Fan Sites evolution, we’ve seen broad changes in expectations for what “Studio Porn” should deliver for people. With so much content being created, studios have to separate themselves. Our response to that is an emphasis on premium content and deeper storytelling.

What else is on the horizon for ASGmax that you are most excited about?

Anyone who knows me knows that I’m always excited about all of our content, but there is SO MUCH coming. We’ve really leaned in to “Features” this year, being able to tell stories across 3 or 4 scenes. Coming this summer, you’ll see features from ASGmax Films, Disruptive Films, and our first-ever Active Duty feature! We’re also in the midst of shooting a really unique feature for this Fall that will land just in time for Halloween, as well as our second animated project.

What is your message to the adult queer community?

Hang on tight, and remember that we are a COMMUNITY. Work together, elevate each other, and strive to spread positive energy. We will likely face some challenges these next few years, but we’re all stronger when we stand together.
