First Time Going To A Nude Beach: How To, the Queer Way

We are heading into the warm days of spring and summer, and that means we are ready to shed our winter skin and head to the beach! With everything going on towards the queer community, many of us gays are getting louder and prouder and are ready to flaunt it all! Never been to a nude beach? Gurlll...this is the year to throw caution to the wind and let it all flop out. Nude beaches are relaxing, they evoke feelings of freedom, and sometimes, you can get some hot action. We have had inquiries here and there about our tips and practices for going to a nude beach, so we thought we'd put it all together for you. Get out that suntanning lotion, fluff off that dick, and get ready out to head out to the beach!

Just Do It

Instead of hemming and hawing, just decide to go and then go. Everyone should feel the exhilaration of freedom while being nude at some point. Nude beaches are intended to be safe spaces to bare it all to the world, and they cater to all shapes, sizes, and ages. So, get out of your head and show off your head. Don't give yourself the option to back out.

Take It Slow

Just because you are on a nude beach doesn't mean you need to strip down immediately. Give yourself a little time to get acclimated and comfortable in your space on the beach. Look around and notice everyone else in their absolute comfort level. It will all start to look commonplace to you, and little by little, you can strip down until you feel the urge to splash around in the water with your dick flopping around.

Get Over It

Yes, you will take glances at other people in their nude glory. Yes, they will glance at you. But get out of your head, no one is staring and staring (unless they want to hook up). You will definitely see all shapes and sizes, so if you are worried about your weight, age, or dick size, get over it. No one really cares, everyone is welcome. You will always see someone fitter than you and someone less fit, and it doesn't even matter. Everyone is enjoying themselves, and no one is fixated on your current state. So just enjoy your nude beach debut. Bodies are bodies, no big deal. There are dicks and muscles of every shape and size. No biggie.

Lotion

Yes, you need to put suntanning lotion EVERYWHERE. And we do mean everywhere, even in your cracks and crevices and up and down your shaft. You don't want a sunburned anus or shaft. Trust us on that one.

Nude Pride

Most people assume that a nude beach is about showing off and that it is sexual in nature. This is not always the case. It is about rejecting body shame and promoting respect and acceptance of your fellow gays. There is an empowerment in being nude and losing the focus on every aspect of your body, knowing everyone else has their type of body, everyone is welcome, everyone is different.

Erections

Hey, our dicks sometimes have a mind of their own. Some guys will get excited when applying suntan lotion. Some guys will get an erection even while taking a nap on the beach. If you are at a gay nude beach, there may be some sexual activity. The same rules apply as in a gay sex club or sauna. No means no, from both parties. Just ease yourself into the nude beach experience and challenge yourself to go back. You will find it easier and more comfortable trip after each trip until having to put clothes back on seems like a chore.
