Dating Older Guys: Chad Speaks
Hello, Sexies!
It seems that over the years, the stigma in gay circles regarding dating older guys has gotten better and now we don't just assume a twunk is dating someone more mature just to have a sugar daddy (although if you find a real sugar daddy, send him my way). Now, most of us don't even bat an eye when our friends bring someone to brunch who has grey hair and has to be back to the senior home by curfew. Kidding. Am I the drama? LOL. Even your Chad here has enjoyed dating older guys and after hearing some recent gossip about my friend and his boo, I wanted to share some pros about dating a mature guy.
All in all, age is just a figure. I know some twunks who act like they are 80 and I know some older guys who act like they are immature gays. It really is about how you live life. When you limit yourself to dating someone just by the age someone is, you can miss opportunities to expand your love and dating experience. That being said, you can't tell your body what to respond to sexually, but chemistry in the bedroom can be inspired by many different things, like emotionally and mentally connecting with someone. So don't cut yourself off so quickly just because you subscribe to only dating your age or younger.
There's just something about dating someone who is older and who has experienced life. First of all, older guys tend to be more stable in life. You typically won't be sleeping on a mattress on the floor when dating someone more mature. They have also been through things you may be going through and give you understanding and great advice when needed. They also tend to focus on you more (that's the part I like). Older guys tend to be more emotionally available and not distracted by shiny new things. Sometimes dating someone who is stable and emotionally strong and available is hotter than a big D you found on Grindr.
Yes, older guys may be more financially stable, but not always. Even if they have more money in the bank than you, that doesn't mean you don't have to do your part. It's a 50/50 relationship so you should still be planning dates and outings, they don't all have to be dinners at 5-star restaurants or trips to PV. But there is something to be said about seeing someone who is financially secure and learning from their experience in saving, budgeting, and advancing in their career. They can be a financial role model.
There is this horrible idea in some gay circles that older guys are not as good in bed. Maybe their body isn't 100% like the young stud at the gym, but they have years more experience in the bedroom and trust me, they can teach you a few things about hot sex. They also tend to have more confidence and are less hung up on little things that younger gays are fixated on. They can be free and inhibited in the bedroom, and that is very hot. Older guys lean towards being very focused on intimacy. When you have a strong bond and passionate intimacy, that makes any orgasm better.
When you date a more mature guy, they will probably be looking for something a little more long-term than just a romp for an hour (or less). Their eye is on something a bit more complex, a bit more life-building together, and that can be a real treat. Being able to focus on life goals is fulfilling and less time is spent on the little flashy things in life. Being with someone more mature makes you more mature, and you might be surprised how life goals change.
The fact is, the younger gays can learn from the older gays, and vice versa. Be less fixated on a number for an age, and more on the person. I can't believe it, I actually sound mature here. LOL!
