Using the Word 'Bussy' In the Bedroom

You met that hot power bottom off of Grindr, you get him in your bed, throw him against the pillow, unzip his pants, lube up, and you're about to go to pound town and then he screams, "Give it me in my bussy!" Huh? What? We gay gays have been making up slang terms for years, partly out of survival and partly out of being quite hilarious. Yes, bussy is a word we've brought into the world. Simply put, a bussy is a man's butthole. Mix butt with pussy and you get bussy. Does this turn you on, or turn you off? The gays are divided.

The word can be found in a slang from over a decade and a half ago, but it has really taken off in the last couple of years. You will even find it as a popular hashtag or descriptive on your hookup apps. The word bussy has given rise to anything termed -ussy. The American Dialect Society named the suffix “-ussy” as its word of the year in 2022, meaning you can add anything you want to the front. Mussy can often mean man pussy, thrussy can mean a mouth pussy (oral).

The younger generation of power bottoms have taken bussy to mean "boy pussy" rather than butt pussy. The gays are divided. Either way, we know what it means. Many of our circle find the term funny and more comical than sexual. Gay Reddit users are mixed. Some say that it is a feminine term for a gay guy, meaning the bottom wants to be used in a more feminine way, they way a guy would fuck a girl's vagina. Some guys are turned on by their bottoms being more feminine, some get turned off saying they want to top a guy, not a girl. Hey, we all have our types. But the queer community has continually blended feminine and masculine themes, do we draw the line in the bedroom? Why is it such a turn off to some guys?

Some commentators say the word bussy is degrading and homophobic, believing that topping a guy's anus isn't normal and so we have to compare it to a vagina. Some bottoms don't like the term when used by their tops when being dominated because they feel inadequate that they have to be compared to a female's anatomy. Some say the term is just a joke and no jokes should be told while having sex, and that it ruins the mood. But some bottoms love the idea of submission and being used as just a hole, it turns them on. Some prefer the use of bussy rather than just saying man pussy.

For other queer men in the community, they find the term offensive to the trans community. It opens the conversation to a much bigger topic and that is the relationship between gay men and the trans community. Some believe that the word bussy is transphobic and insulting to trans gay men.

At the end of the day, it depends on what turns you on and what your sexual partner think about it. Before blurting it out during the peak of a hookup, maybe discuss what terms are off limits. Or maybe we shouldn't get so butt hurt about everything and just go with the flow.
