RuPaul Slaps Back, Widow Von'Du Claps Back...Moments of Shade!

The queens of RuPaul's Drag Race are getting feisty lately, with Mama Ru herself getting in on the action. In the last few years, the Drag Race queens often get into beef on social media with fans chiming in. Is it supportive? No. Does it make RuPaul's family look cute? No. Is it fun to watch? Yasssss! The problem with reading or making a Drag Race queen mad is that they know how to fight back. The library is in session. This past week saw RuPaul slapping a queen and Widow Von'Du calling out another queen for her behavior. Girl, the claws are out!

Over the weekend, the Drag Race family lost a vibrant member of the clan, The Vivienne. She was the winner of Drag Race UK and passed away at the young age of 32. Tragic. Drag Race fam, Dragula fam, celebrities, and fans all posted messages of love. Even RuPaul herself.

RuPaul's DragCon is also making memorial space for The Vivienne at this year's event. A touching tribute.

The always controversial Tyra, winner of the 2nd season of Drag Race, posted a vile response to The Vivienne's death, due to a beef from years ago.

The Drag Race queen family went crazy clapping back at Tyra. Tyra did not apologize, instead, she posted even more vile comments, even guessing as to the cause of The Vivienne's death. While many of the queens posted their support of The Vivienne, everyone was still looking to see if RuPaul, who normally does not get involved in queens clapping back at each other, would post anything. She did. It was simple, it was succinct, and without commentary.

The footage is from Tyra's season of Drag Race during which RuPaul fakes slaps the vile queen. This is big for RuPaul and just shows how far Tyra crossed the line. Tyra responded with her post:

Tyra has not slowed down and continues to thank all the haters for increasing her engagement. She has taken the opportunity to promote her lipsynch videos.

Also among the RuPaul family, Jade Jolie from Drag Race season 5 and Dragula season 4 took to social media to announce that working with Widow Von'Du (Drag Race season 12) was not fun and that Widow had a "terrible attitude" and "terrible drag." Widow Von'Du didn't skip a beat to clap back:

Many came out to support Widow's statement, even a former drag daughter of Jade's. Gurllll...

RuPaul get your family in line! The drag community needs to get their ish together and start supporting each other more, especially with the attack drag will undoubtedly go through in the next few years.
