Twinks Rule in Pornhub's 2024 Year in Review

Ho Ho HOE! This is the time of year when all of our hookup and porn-watching sites reveal just how horny we were in 2024 and what and who we were horny about. This week we shared Squirt.org and Grindr data from the year, and the hookup culture differs greatly from what porn we were watching and jerking off to. Pornhub remains one of the most popular porn sites in the world. Their team has compiled data from billions of hits to determine demographics and trends in online adult content viewing practices. We've narrowed it down to the gay content...here we go!

Keeping the top stop in the most Pornhub gay searches is the term "twink," by a large margin. This is the complete opposite of the findings over at Squirt where twinks were at the bottom of the list of what guys were looking for with mature guys being at the top of the list. Does that mean we have twink fantasies in watching porn, but we like more mature guys in reality when hooking up? Hmmmm...Surprisingly, anime took second place in Pornhub search terms, followed by pinoy (the term for a male of Filipino descent), femboy, and straight guys' first time. Terms like bareback and big dick rose a few spots from last year, and interracial and solo male dropped a few spots.

What were we actually watching? While the above terms were the most searched on Pornhub, here is the list of what we actually viewed. Twinks took the top spot again, followed by bareback, straight guys, mature guys, big dick, group, and Black. At the very bottom of the list were bears and massage videos. Sorry, bears! I guess if you want to be popular on Pornhub, don't be a bear getting a massage.

The most viewed porn star list had a bit of a shake-up, with some of the regulars maintaining their popularity but with some fierce competition. Malik Delgaty remained at the top followed by Tyler Wu who jumped up significantly from 2023. Hunnypaint wasn't even on the list last year but ranked 3rd for 2024. He is followed by Cade Maddox, Rhyheim Shabazz, and Dante Cole. Surprisingly, Beau Butler and Derek Kage were at the bottom of the list.

Even though Pornhub remains one of the most popular, if not THE most popular, porn sites, they've had some obstacles this year. Their Instagram ban continues (even though they didn't post anything explicit) and due to legal restrictions on adult sites concerning adult verification, they have pulled out of a number of states in the US. Who knows what's ahead under the next political administration and if restrictions on adult content will continue?
