Gay Content Creator Corner: Grow Your Instagram EnGAYgement
We often get asked for advice from our gay content creators on how to grow their OnlyFans, Instagram, TikTok, etc. Welcome to our new Content Creator Corner where will give drop our latest tips and trends on how to handle your social media and platforms. First up, let's talk about your Instagram engagement. Your engagement is how much action your account is getting from followers and non-followers. If you are a paid content creator, engagement is very important in determining your post's value. This includes your likes, comments, shares, DMs, reposts, saves, all of that. To determine your engagement rate, simply add a post's likes, comments, and saves; divide that by your "reach" and multiply by 100 to get your engagement percentage rate. So now, how to increase your enGAYgement? Here are today's tips.
Stickers!
Adding "stickers" to your Instagram stories is a sure-fire way to get your followers to engage with your posts. The more they engage, the more loyal they become to your content. They also feel included and heard. These stickers include polls, questions, quizzes, or "ask me anything" segments. Adding questions is going to get you the most interaction. Make them fun, make them gay, and make them easy to respond to. "Does this shirt make me look gay?" "What is your #1 tip for being a top?" "What is a dating red flag?" "What did you think of Wicked?" All those kind of stories will get some action for sure.
Memes!
Memes go viral for good reason. They are funny, relatable, and usually shared over and over again. Make your own memes or repost memes. There are plenty of gay memes out there that can be sexy, sassy, or even both. Many times these memes get shared directly from stories. Add memes to your stories and your main grid. Word to the wise, if you share someone else's meme, make sure they get some sort of credit or you can get some mad memers out there.
Reels!
On average, users will view about three hours a day of video on social media per day. Adding reels to your stories and grid (with great captions) will make your followers stop and take a moment to watch. This will build your Instagram engagement. A lot of Instagrammers tend to be intimidated by reels because some content creators out there put a lot of editing and bells and whistles on their content. Don't be wary. It isn't about the amazing editing or graphics, it really is about the content. Start off by doing simple reels and you will see how easy you can edit. Once you get used to the process you can start adding more bells and whistles until is second nature. Just get the reels out there. Instagram Reels has many templates you can use to make it easier.

Quote Graphics
Quotes, motivational phrases, and simple sayings mocked up as an easy graphic (you can even screenshot a Twitter/Threads post) are shared very often, especially if the quote is poignant or funny. A sleek, simple graphic can add some color and variety to your grid and, as Instagram stories, are also shared at a much higher rate.

Call To Action!
Make sure in every post you make, you end with a call to action. Ask your audience a question, ask them their advice, and ask them to share in the comments. Every comment will add to your Instagram engagement and also build loyalty, and make sure you respond to every comment. Not only will this increase your engagement, but the traffic will make the algorithm pop up in non-followers feeds.
