Is Lady Gaga Back On Track with "Disease?" New Music Drop!
Lady Gaga has had a shaky time of it lately with some ups and downs. Her collab with Bruno Mars, "Die With A Smile," has become a sleeper hit and shows off the duo very well. Unfortunately, her film Joker: Folie à Deux was panned by critics and audiences and has become one of the biggest box office flops of the year. As an accompaniment to the film, Gaga released the jazzy album Harlequin, a collection of covers of standards from music's most popular library. The album, though good, received a lukewarm reception. Well, calm down Monsters, Gaga is back! Giving us that Bad Romance energy, she dropped her latest single, Disease, and the gays are eating it up!
With a dark beat, gritty vocals, and techno dance goodness, this is the Gaga we have missed. It has become an instant hit and reminds us just how good she is. The song is an absolute banger and has already hit the dance floor at the clubs. It is very reminiscent of Bad Romance and Judas, with a dash of new techno.
The song has hit #1 on the charts, with her collab with Bruno Mars staying steady in the top 10. Disease gives us a taste of what to expect from Gaga's highly anticipated L7, a follow-up to Chromatica. She took to Instagram to thank her fans for supporting her new hit and she promises that there is a lot more music on the way. She also stated that she hadn't seen the community come together like this in a long time.

Those of us who live in Los Angeles knew Gaga was in Hollywood when the streets were jammed when she arrived to appear on Jimmy Kimmel. She performed live and reminded us once again how truly versatile she is.

It's hard to remember a time when there was no Gaga. She started singing at open mics in her youth and performed in school plays. Her debut album Fame was released in 2008 and became a monster hit instantly making her a bonafide superstar. She has sold an estimated 170 million records, becoming on of the world's best-selling music artists and the only female artist to achieve four singles each selling at least 10 million copies globally. We are glad she's back just the way we love her! Can't wait for L7!
