Are These The Gayest Jobs Ever?
Your gay friend is a hair stylist? No! You don't say? Your other gay friend is a florist? Gasp! We all know that the gays have their domination over certain jobs, hey, we are good at being creative and so fanciful jobs tend to suit the community best. But some other job roles filled by the queer community might surprise you. While we don't have LGBTQ census data in the US as of yet, England's census recently released some queer data in the workforce, making a quasi-list of the actual gayest jobs ever. Do you work in one of these fields?
Theme Park Worker
This makes tons of sense. We all know the community loves their Gay Days at Disney, Knotts, Six Flags, what have you. There's a thrill of the rides, there are usually costumes involved, and theme park workers get to see more than their fair share of hot men on any given day. We have at least five friends who work either as a performer, ride operator, waiter, or ticket taker - they all work for Disney. The Magic Kingdom is full of queens. The happiest place on earth may be among the gayest jobs ever. Remember that parade-dancing cow that was just slaying it? You can't tell us there's not a gay under there.

Flight Attendant
We don't know how this stereotype became true, but yes, the friendly skies have more than their fair share of the gays serving more than just drinks. Queerty has reported that at least 50% of male flight attendants are gay. Why is being a flight attendant among the gayest jobs ever? A few reasons. First, we love outfits and we know airlines require a crisp uniform. Secondly, we tend not to have roots in family life in terms of children and such, and so a flight attendant's schedule and not being home for periods of time is fine with us. Thirdly, we get to travel. We are adventurers, wanting to break out of our cocoons and see the world. Fourth, we can have boyfriends in many different cities with excuses why we have to leave early in the morning. LOL. Remember the story we shared about the attendant fired for using Grindr? Case in point. P.S. He sued back and won.

Coffee Shop Baristas
The gays love serving it. And being sassy about it. For some reason, coffee shop baristas can get away with giving us a little attitude and we love it. Among the gayest jobs ever, we love an active environment and rush hours where we can prove our creativity in making delicious drinks while showing off our organizational skills by shouting orders and making three drinks at a time. We also love meeting all the businessmen who come in. Another big reason the gays work at coffee shops is due to the hours, early mornings allow time later in the day for auditions, evening gigs, and gym time.

Bartenders
Heaven knows we love our hot bartenders. Bartenders not only get knee-deep into the nightlife scene, they get a front-row seat into all of the gossip. Access to drinks and go-go boys on top of that? Yes, please. For those bartenders with bulging biceps, they know how good tips can be. Also, many from the queer community will work at straight bars because they get all of the attention without having the gay drama. On the opposite side of being a barista, working at night can leave room during the day for auditioning, going to the gym, or doing another side hustle. Being a bartender is also a great way to network and meet movers and shakers.

Go-Go Boys
Do we even need to explain this one? Hey! If you got it, flaunt it. Make wads of cash and meet lots of hot men.

Data Researcher
Ok, among the gayest jobs ever, data researcher may have you scratching your head. The fact is, our community makes up more than our fair share of representation in the research world. Not all of us gays are nightlife-centered. Some of us are nerds who love numbers, love to be organized, and love science and data. There's also the fact that many of the queer community have higher levels of education and so enter the workforce in science and research. Hot gay nerd fantasies abound!

So that's our quick list of where many of our community are working. Of course, there are always the lawyers, realtors, and entertainers out there. But here's where the mass is WERKING it!
