Alrighty, gays, hold on to your innards! Halloween season will start off with a bang as the infamous goth drag queen competition show, The Boulet Brothers' Dragula drops season 6 on October 1st, exclusively on Shudder and AMC+. This is the little competition show that could, becoming a huge success after a modest start. This year, the show received its first-ever Emmy nomination, and two nominations at that. This season will debut with an hour and a half long show, with one hour episodes each week after that.
In keeping in line where the macabre meets the gruesome meets heels and lashes, this season is being nicknamed "Season 666." This ten-episode season promises to be bigger and more horrifying than before with top-notch actors and directors guest starring as judges. This show brings the most extreme drag artists from around the world to compete for $100,000 in a mix of challenges that include costume design and creation, makeup and special effects, live performance, and craftsmanship. Starting as a tongue-in-cheek response to Drag Race, this show is becoming a major contender for the best drag competition show on TV. In addition to drag-related challenges, this year's contestants will face their deepest fears in terrifying physical challenges, from being buried alive to skydiving and enduring swarms of spiders. Oh myyyy...

Dracmorda Boulet says in a press release, “This cast is incredible, and we can’t wait for the world to get to know them and watch their stories unfold. They are a lot less safe and less worried about the fans’ potential reactions to them than casts in recent seasons have been, so there is a definite return to drama this season, and it will keep you on the edge of your seat.”
The Boulet Brothers have become an entertainment empire unto their own. Made up of Dracmorda and Swanthula Boulet, they have earned the moniker Queens of Halloween. Everything dark, bloody, and grotesquely beautiful, they can do it all from crafting costumes and creating horror-laden home decor to creating and starring in this Emmy-nominated series. They have been dubbed "Horror's New Icons" by Fangoria magazine and have appeared on talk shows and documentaries. They've even made it mainstream appearing on Good Morning America last year. Under their production company, they produce TV, film, and comic books as the writers, producers, and directors. They've also created a road tour for Dragula, presenting to sold-out audiences. This gruesome twosome is mighty talented and pushes the envelope in drag and queer content norms.
