Get Into Gay Sports!

This past summer Olympics got us all in a tizzy with many out athletes competing and tons of coverage of hot bulges and butts courtesy of the swim teams. It has also brought back the love of sports and many gays are getting in on the game and finding local sports groups to get in on the fun. It's also a good way to meet hot guys. There are many amateur gay sports organizations out there and even if you aren't proficient at being an athlete, you can still take part. Always wanted to be on a team? Now is your chance. Here are some groups that may be near you that you can put on a jockstrap and hit the field with.

NAGAAA (North American Gay Amateur Athletic Alliance)

NAGAAA is a nationwide softball league with many cities in North America taking part. This LGBTQ+ group has local leagues in major cities and national tournaments, including its yearly Gay Softball World Series. This sports group is all about diversity and inclusion. The group was founded in 1977. If there isn't a league in your city, you can apply to start one. Play ball!

Front Runners

If running and walking is your idea of sports, Front Runners is for you. The group was formed based on the book The Frontunner, about a gay track star. There are over a hundred chapters nationwide and in addition to marathon training and casual jogs, host social events and races. This organization is also global so if you want to meet hot runners while you travel to foreign lands, this is the place to network.

The Gay Games

Just like the Olympics, the Gay Games roam around the globe every four years. This is the largest LGBTQ+ sporting event in the world. This event is for all ages and is a ten-day long celebration. The next Gay Games will be in València, Spain in 2026.

Stonewall Sports

Stonewall Sports is in many major cities. Under this group's umbrella are sports leagues including kickball, dodgeball, and volleyball. The group was founded in 2010, is a non-profit, and offers low-cost fees to take part.

OutLoud Sports

This national organization offers a wide variety of sports - including kickball, dodgeball, soccer, and tennis among drag events and even frisbee and cornhole. They host national competitions where LGBTQ+ from all over come to take part.
