Throwback Thursday Traces Ten Years of Mr. Man as It Celebrates It’s Anniversary

Mr. Man is celebrating its ten-year anniversary with specially chosen top-ten male celebrity nudes of all ten. According to them. I don't see any Nick Offerman or other big hairy dudes, so the list is a bit lacking for yer boy Hank here's tastes, but it's pretty spectacular nonetheless. The site, probably the largest collection of male nudes appearing in movies and tv shows from around the world, was started as an offshoot of the popular Mr. Skin which features female celebrity nudes as seen in various projects. No candid paparazzi pics here people! Just stuff from their bodies of work. They thought it would attract more female subscribers. Yeah, right. The gays came knocking and they've learned to lean into that target audience, with over 11,500 titles, featuring nearly 37,000 individual clips from almost 14,000 actors. There's definitely something for everyone!

As they point out in their press buzz regarding the past decade:

Reflecting on the past decade, Mr. Man has witnessed Hollywood’s growing embrace of male nudity. The site was launched during a time when male nudity was experiencing something of a renaissance, with films like Gone Girl and Stranger by The Lake and cable TV shows like HBO’s Oz and Looking introducing more risqué content.  The rise of streaming platforms played a pivotal role in pushing the envelope even further with shows like House of the Dragon, Industry, and A Man in Full.

#10: Joaquín Ferreira in Club de Cuervos

Netflix's first Spanish language series only came out in 2015, opening the floodgates for many to follow. And this actor made floodgates sploosh as a footballer (soccer) going full frontal in the locker room and the bedroom. Let's just save his talent is massively impressive! Like, huge!

#9: Lukas Gage and Murray Bartlett in The White Lotus

"These gays are trying to kill me!" No, this rimming scene is killing me! White Lotus was filled with awesome sex, and this no-holds-barred salad tossing takes the, well, salad!

#8: Yahya Abdul-Mateen II in Watchmen

Mateen doesn't make us blue one bit. Yer only getting a pic here because when he goes nude in this great series, he always goes all out, whether in natural skin tones or as Dr. Manhatten. he just looks cold, but there's never any shrinkage!

#7: Glen Powell in Anyone But You

No, they're not about to get down for some kinky mountaintop sex. He's making her check for spiders up his ass. Okay, maybe it is kinky sex. I don't know what the straights get into these days!

#6: Ben Affleck in Gone Girl

It's a blink-and-you-miss-it moment when Affleck displays his Oscar statue as he climbs into the shower with a blood-soaked Rosamund Pike. Again, whatever the breeders are down for, I just say "You do you, boo." But Mr. Man pauses it for you and, wow, the winner goes to...

#5: Regé-Jean Page in Bridgerton

Is it just me, or did this guy basically make the entire world cream when this blockbuster series first aired?

#4: Diego Luna and Gael García Bernal in Y tu mamá también

Okay, this is the only one I disagree with, if only because the moment here is reflecting a lot of macho homophobia as these two young men get freaked out when they wake up after a night together, with one actually rushing outside to barf. But oh well, they'll be back for more.

#3: Michael Fassbender in Shame

Here's an odd one. He lays in bed contemplating life, then gets up and flashes us a huge bush. Boom, done. But there's all kinds of fantasizing you can do as you gaze upon him.

#2: Matt Bomer and Jonathan Bailey in Fellow Travelers

Probably some of the most honest gay sex we've seen...ever. This show raised the bar, as well as some other things!

And finally...

#1: Barry Keoghan in Saltburn

You knew this was coming, right? From his tub drain licking to his grave plot humping to his sinisterly joyful dance macabre, Keoghan made us pay attention.
