Let's start with a few basics: Age? Hometown? Occupation?
I'm Damon Heart and I’m 38 years old. I grew up in Gent, an old town in Belgium. After the world took a little nap in 2019, I reoriented to interior design.
How did you come up with your stage name?
I chose Damon because I believe everyone has a bit of the devil in them. That doesn’t mean you’re bad. It means that we all have a choice to act good or bad. Heart was easy. The heart stands for life itself. Do everything you undertake in life with passion, audacity, and grace. Do it with your heart and you will succeed.
Could you tell us a bit about your upbringing and background in Belgium?
I’m the second son of three. I wouldn’t say my childhood was roses and violets, but it brought me where I am today. So I'm definitely not complaining. I originally studied as a gourmet chef with a passion for wine culture.
What first brought you to the world of gay adult?
I was interested in porn/sex from a very young age. I always had a dream to perform in a movie. Besides, I wanted to be an actor so I figured porn would be a great combination. I always kept talking about it until a friend told me to act on it or shut up about it for life. So, I did! I contacted a photographer and sent my pictures to all the studios I wanted to work with. Eventually, I chose to work with Lucas Entertainment, which was a great porn school. I know Mr Lucas has a reputation, but one thing is indisputable: the man knows porn! After my period at Lucas, I was fortunate to work with many good studios and talents, like MenAtPlay, NakedSword, Falcon, men.com, and Bel Ami. Hopefully, more to come!

You have been in the business for a while now. Any major changes you seen in the business, good and not so good?
The arrival of the OnlyFans and Just for Fans platforms is the biggest change. I think it’s a good evolution and addition to the adult entertainment.
You are also very busy in a number of other different professions. Please tell us about your work.
I’m working as an interior designer and project manager. Besides this full-time job, I’m opening a guesthouse with my husband. The guesthouse is a presentation of the styles that I use as an interior designer. Of course, I'm also still doing porn and producing more of my own content is on my to do list (not producing as much as I'd like right now). I'm happily married and we have two great dogs who are named Queenie and Prince (Such stereotypes, right?!)
You are also an accomplished ballroom dancer. Please tell us about your career in dance.
I wouldn't call myself a champion, but I did dance for many years and did a lot of competitions with great results. Honestly, there are many better dancers. I started when I was only 7 and stopped when I was 15. Then I picked it up again when I was in my twenties. We had a great run, but when you get into your thirties partnerships are a bit harder. My partner started a family, and it just wasn’t possible to continue anymore.

Do you think your skills as a dancer and performer apply to your porn work? How so?
Definitely! Having sex is like a dance, only slower and with less clothes, and hopefully at the end of the song you haven't stepped on your partner's toes. Dancing is knowing your body and posture, connecting with another person, so yes very similar to choreographing sex scenes.
Which of all these careers is the most important to you and why?
I consider all my activities important. Doing all of them is what keeps me interested and motivated. The versatility keeps me going.
You have shared that you are married. Is that challenging being in the porn industry? How do you make it work?
I’m a firm believer that having a life partner doesn’t have to mean sexual exclusivity. Humans are not made to be monogamous. It’s a well-indoctrinated idea that comes from the fact that men needed to know who would inherit the cows and pigs when they died. Religion added a holy standard to it and the crowds ate it like monkeys eat bananas. I think it’s important to be connected with each other on all other levels and to know who you always want to wake up to. I hate waking up to others!haha

Tell us a little bit about yourself outside of porn. Interests? Hobbies? Beliefs?
I love beauty in all forms, going from art, history, fashion etc. My favorite things to do is taking a simple walk with my dogs and having a great dinner with my husband. Traveling for porn is great and traveling with my husband is above and beyond.
Who is the real Damon?
I hope I’m considered kind, professional, and straightforward. I invest time in family and friends, try to avoid drama and have an aversion to bullshit. I love all good things in life: men, fine food combined with great wines, I love art, exceptional acting, and music that gives emotions. I’m a firm believer that you can do anything in life as long as you don’t hurt or harm anyone else.
What would you still like to achieve, in Porn and in all your work and even in life?
Very simplistically, I want to have a satisfied feeling with a scene, a design, a project, or anything I undertake in life. That is the goal. When you deliver well, success and satisfaction will follow. Sometimes it comes fast and sometimes it takes time.

Because all the fans ask, what is your favorite scene and why?
Difficult question... Overall I enjoyed making "Barebackula" the most. It had great sex and a lot of b roll. Also, I always had a thing with vampires. For purely sex, I enjoyed almost every scene I have ever made.
