Carnal+ Exclusive Hugo Dupré: Bringing His European Flair

Can this summer get any hotter? Carnal once again hits the mark with growing their roster of hot talent by announcing twink Hugo Dupré as their latest exclusive. Carnal, little by little, is taking over the European market. Hugo is the third exclusive from the region to be signed by the studio in the last nine months. Viva Europe! Hugo has made his mark in the industry, in two years he's already won Best Twink at the 2024 European Grabbys. Dupré's Carnal debut will be on the recently re-launched Staghomme this fall, shot exclusively in Spain.

We chatted with Hugo in this Fleshbot exclusive about his take on the industry, his personal life, and what it means to join the Carnal family. His English is not too shabby, and his on screen talent is fire!

How did you end up getting into the adult industry?

I was attracted to becoming a porn actor and then I understood it was possible. So when I was 19 years old I started doing hot photos and videos of myself, which permitted me to work for my first studio (FrenchTwinks), which I shot with my first year.

What do you wish you would have known before starting in the adult world?

I wish I had known that I could show myself as I am, and not be scared about what people will think of me. Now I see that all the fans are just kind and encouraging and no one is judging.

What has surprised you the most since getting into the industry?

What surprised me is that the actors are all really different. Unlike a lot of jobs, porn is a job that mixes people from very different environments and from a lot of countries.

What do you want most from your director?

I want them to guide me a lot, giving advice like, « now you could do it slower » or « look in this direction » because it's difficult to know what it looks like from the outside and I’m happy to learn how I can improve. Also, I like when they are positive and encouraging.

What makes the perfect scene partner?

I love it when I have the feeling that my partner wants me even when there are no cameras, and if he kisses me or is sweet to me even when the cameras are down.

What do you think your European sensibility and style can offer to the US market of the adult industry?

I think bringing people from different places in the world can only be a benefit to the US industry, it can bring different states of mind and different kinks ;). Also, I think there are not a lot of uncut people in the US, this is also something I can bring.

You won Best Twink for the European Grabbys, what did winning that award mean the most to you?

I really didn’t have the feeling that I had an important place in the adult industry. It gave me a lot of confidence and so much motivation.

Do you feel the pressure to stay looking young in the industry?

Not at all! I don’t want to be a twink all my (porn) life. Actually, I consider myself more as a twunk than a twink. But I must admit that people still see me as a twink.

What was filming your first scene with Carnal like?

It was great! I was a bit nervous but my partner (Apolo Adrii) and the producer (Timmy Treasure) were really nice.

What do you love most about working with Carnal?

All the actors know their job and have experience. They are efficient, and take the time to push the quality higher.

What do you think sets the content created by Carnal apart from others in the industry?

The quality, the actors, and the scenarios.

What does it mean the most to you to be named a Carnal Exclusive?

It means I am a real professional actor, not just a beginner!

How do you balance your porn and personal life?

Quite well! All my family and my friends know what I do! I still do studies, and this double life makes me have a really big timetable.

What do you think the future of gay porn looks like?

I don’t know, I think it evolves fast. But what it will be in the future depends on what we will do about it. Personally I would like porn to give messages, like the normalization of sexuality, and the normalization of being gay, being different, and expressing yourself.

What do you want most out of your porn career?

I want my face and my name to be something people have already heard about even when they don’t know me personally, it would really mean I became a porn star.

What advice do you have for someone thinking about getting into the industry?

That this is all about relationships, you can’t do anything alone, you must meet a lot of people from this industry (which is cool, I love the human side of this job).
