Carnal+ Exclusive Sean Xavier: Embracing the Industry
Carnal+ wrapped up Pride Month by announcing Sean Xavier as their newest exclusive. This has just been a bang-up 2024 for the company as its roster of hot and talented models continues to grow. Xavier has already been featured on CumDumpSluts from BarebackPlus and is currently shooting for ScoutBoys and other Carnal sites. Sean is based in Las Vegas but enjoys traveling the world and has experienced much of the US. Fun fact, in addition to dominating the adult industry, he also is into acrobatics and circus gymnastics. No wonder he looks so limber on camera!
We talked with Sean about becoming a Carnal+ exclusive, his take on the industry, and what lies ahead.

How did you end up getting into the adult industry?
Webcamming was my first foray into the adult industry; it helped pay for school. A couple of degrees and a career later, I returned to film, because I missed performing, traveling, and making art.
What do you wish you would have known before starting in the adult world?
Prior to starting in the adult world, I wish I had known how many different avenues there are to be connected in the industry. I’ve stayed mostly in the performing/modeling space, but I’ve met many clothing manufacturers, software designers, event planners, musicians, attorneys, and more who all support this wide adult world. I can see myself branching in some of these directions in the near future.

What has surprised you the most since getting into the industry?
Especially with the rise of Fan-platforms, I’m surprised and delighted that there truly is a market for everyone. No matter where you’ve come from in life, or where your passions lie, if you film it, they will cum.
What do you want most from your director?
I enjoy working with directors who like collaborating on the creative vision for the final product. I have the most fun when we bounce ideas back with one another on the type of mood we want to set for a scene.
What makes the perfect scene partner?
I really enjoy playing off of someone who is expressive and verbal. The more I can see their eyes light up in excitement, or hear from their moaning that they’re feeling great, the more I get into the connection.

You have traveled across the US. What have your travels taught you most about life and about the US?
The US is so varied; truly every state has its own culture and character. In bed, that translates to an equal variety of sexual proclivities, depending on where you are in the nation. I love, for instance, the punctuality of the Northeast: “I can have sex from 2 pm - 4 pm, next Wednesday, before my congressional hearing;” the virgin experiences of the Great Plains: “I’ve never done this before…can we try doggy style;” and the kink of the West Coast: “The leather dom daddy should be here any minute, can you lock the sub in his cage, I need to get the hors d'oeuvres ready for the party?”
What was filming your first scene with Carnal like?
I liked it so much, I had to come back for more, haha. It was great! Everyone on the production team really cared about the final product; as models, we were coached very well on how to produce the aesthetic that they're known for.

What do you love most about working with Carnal?
My background is in software design, and I love that the company is run much like a tech company: To produce good content at scale and distribute it to a massive audience requires efficiency in planning and production which is hard to master. I really feel that this is a team that I will be able to learn and grow with to create fantasies en masse.
What do you think sets the content created by Carnal apart from others in the industry?
Unequivocally, it’s their focus on fantasy. They listen to their core audiences and deliver content that satisfies what people are asking for. And, most importantly, they communicate what they’re hearing to the actors, so we can deliver performances more in line with what people are really wanting. I’m enjoying the process.
What does it mean the most to you to be named a Carnal Exclusive?
With exclusivity comes the support of a team of people dedicated to my success. Already, I’m seeing the fruits of their labor - this interview, for example.

What are the benefits of being a studio exclusive?
The more you work with the same group of people - the same photographers, production team, sound engineers, etc - the smoother the shoot. When you have a smooth shoot, you have more time to experiment and be creative with the final product. I’m excited about what we’ll be able to make together.
What do you think sets you apart from other performers in the industry?
I try to portray sex and intimacy the way I enjoy it in my personal life - with love, intimacy, connection, and care. I think my focus on sexual wellness isn’t unique in the industry, but my commitment to it does create a “light” that many gravitate towards.

How do you balance your porn and personal life?
I’m having this interview, arranging a hookup for me and my boyfriend on Grindr, watching a half-edited collab on another monitor, and checking out a dinner reservation for my sister for the evening. Balance is Integration. There’s no other way for me.
You are also into acrobatics and circus gymnastics, what do you love most about that world?
I love living in Vegas because everyone here is in entertainment, or entertainment adjacent. Like porn, the circus attracts a wide variety of people centered around creating an experience that is physically demanding for others to enjoy. Unlike porn, in the circus, the costuming is better! Haha.
What are the biggest misconceptions people have about you?
Most people don’t realize that I’m a big nerd - think Super Mario Bros. meets Pokemon meets Avatar the Last Airbender meets Star Wars.

What do you think the future of gay porn looks like?
AI, AI, AI. Virtual boyfriends are here, and it’s only a matter of time before “build-your-own-sexual-
Across the nation, more and more states are restricting adult sites and contents in the name of protecting minors…what is your take on the situation and what do you think the ultimate outcome will be?
Minors must be protected. Porn is for adults, full stop. We should be supporting our lobbying arm - The Free Speech Coalition - to make sure that our industry, however, isn’t scapegoated and unfairly disenfranchised as we all work towards the goal of keeping this entertainment option available to those legally old enough to consume it. If we don’t, we’ll continue seeing state-wide bans on content, as platforms struggle to comply with legislation that isn’t written with their success in mind.
What advice do you have for someone thinking about getting into the industry?
Tell your family, first. When you’re ready to have that conversation, you’re ready to fully embrace all that this industry has to offer.
