Hottest Gay TV Scenes in Honor of Pride

As we enter into the final week of Pride Month (though for us, being gay-powered and written, Pride never goes away for us), we thought we'd bring some of the steamiest and some of our favorite scenes from gay-flavored scenes from TV's past. Some of these scenes propelled the veracity of gay love as presented on screen, no longer in the closet, we can be just as revealing as the straight TV scenes we had to sit through while growing up. Two men in bed are hot, and we aren't staying quiet about it! These scenes have been curated by our friends over at Mr. Man.

First off, we wanted to start with something sweet (and just as sexy). Writer, director, and actor Ryan O'Connell adapted his memoir, I'm Special: And Other Lies We Tell Ourselves, for Netflix simply titled Special. Part biographical, it dealt with his life as a gay man with a disability. In the first season, his character hires a sex worker to have sex. Played by Brian Jordan Alvarez, they have a great scene where Ryan explores his sexual life with the help of someone knowledgeable. Not only do we get to see Brian's just about perfect ass, it is a sweet moment that celebrates gay sex in its beauty.

Lea Dunham's Girls was one of our favorite shows. While most of us struggle to find our way through life, this show presented the ups and downs of love and life. While it was called Girls, it had plenty of man-on-man action. One of our favorite cuties, Andrew Rannells got some of the most fun gay scenes to do.

Shonda Rimes brought gay sex to network TV via ABC's How to Get Away With Murder. There's plenty of underwear action, bubble butts, and hot kissing. We loved it! We were sad to see the show go after six seasons.

HBO's Looking gave us total Queer as Folk vibes, but unlike Queer as Folk, it didn't give us many seasons to drool over. The show was cast with mostly gay actors and we got to see plenty of skin. Too bad it didn't have a longer life!

One of the shows we miss greatly (even though it ended up kind of being a mess) is True Blood. It was fun, outside of the box, and very sexual. Girls, guys, everyone was fair game in this fantasy show. Add in some vampires and witches? Yes, please. We just about wet ourselves when Ryan Kwanten and Alexander Skarsgård had a hot kissing scene. Wowzers!

Our final pick for this edition is the hot love scene between Dyllón Burnside and Billy Porter in Pose. Not only do we get to see Dyllón's perfect bubble. But we get to see mature and younger gay action on the screen, we know these relationships make up a big part of the community, and now we get to celebrate them in this great series.
