Pornhub Releases Its Pride Analytics! Gurlll...

Pride.com asked Pornhub to put some analytics together for the queer community for Pride and boy, did they deliver! Pornhub has established itself as one of the world's biggest porn sites, it's even part of mainstream pop culture. Their team did research and pulled data from billions of hits to explore what we are watching, where we are watching, and more! There are a few surprises.

Most Viewed Categories

It seems the twinks are controlling the world one video at a time. That category dominated South America, Russia, and most of Europe. Who knew? We know that Bel Ami is one of the biggest European studios with twinks being stage center. North America is obsessed with barebacking (guilty!), and Australia has the market on straight guys. We've met many Australian "straight" guys, wink wink. Africa led with Black, adding twinks, creampies, and hunks to the mix. Which continent best describes your fantasies?

Here In the US

So we know North America leads with loving bareback on Pornhub. Let's break it down by the US. Bareback dominated the western side of the nation, with the Midwest loving straight guys and the Black community. The Black community dominated the southern states, and twinks took up the main interest in a few states on the east coast, South and North Dakota, and Kansas.

Popular Gay Terms by State

This one gets interesting. According to the Pornhub team, California is where "lingerie" in gay porn is searched for most. Arizona is obsessed with riding dildos, and New Mexico is addicted to giant cumshots. Go to New York for your muscle bottom searches, and Florida for your feet worshippers. Farm hands and farmers filled up Minnesota and Michigan, and Wyoming likes vintage cowboys. Older men seem to be popular in Tennessee, Iowa, and South Carolina. Grand, just grand.

Gayest State

Yeah, Maine, you win! According to the platform, this is the gayest state with its viewers to be 28% more likely to search for gay porn, followed right behind by Kentucky and Delaware. California falls below the average rate at -6% more likely to search for gay. Even though the man-to-woman ratio in Alaska is way off, it is the least gay state at -22% searching for gay porn.

Gender and Age

57% of gay porn viewers are men, 43% are women. Pornhub found that older men are more likely to watch gay adult content, 65 and older are 104% more likely to watch gay content than the other age groups. 25 - 34 are -17% less likely, and 18 - 24 is -15%. Does this mean the younger generation is losing interest in watching filmed content? Maybe the younger generation is too busy actually hooking up rather than watching it. Or maybe everyone is just watching OnlyFans. What do you think? The group aged 18-24 are heavily interested in animation content, being 304% more likely to watch it than the other groups, followed by twinks and straight guys as their next saturated searches.
