Luciano: Bringing the Latin Heat to the Adult Industry
Spain is perhaps the mecca of the European gay porn industry. Performers from all over the world seem to be flocking to Barcelona or Madrid to make their dreams of having sex on camera a reality. It has even proven to be a kind of sanctuary for new performers who have escaped oppression from their native countries. One such hot new performer is Luciano. In less than a year, Luciano and his luscious Latin looks have performed in dozens of videos at several of the major studios and he is absolutely loving it. In his first online interview, he shares how he has found his new happiness and how he hopes to make his mark in the industry.

Let's start with a few basics: Age? Hometown? Occupation?
I am currently 25 years old. I was born in Caracas, the capital of Venezuela, and lived there all my life. I decided to move to Madrid a little over a year ago. I studied Communications at the University and worked in that field for a couple of years, but right now I am 100% dedicated to gay porn. I didn’t have to choose my stage name. When I was born, many of my family have called me Luciano due to a misunderstanding when my parents chose my name. Initially, it was Luciano, but they changed it at the last minute. So, although Luciano is not on my legal documents, many people have called me that throughout my life and that’s why I decided to continue using it now.
What brought you to the world of gay porn?
It was a combination of many things. Ever since I was much younger, it was something that caught my attention a lot. I always loved visiting the websites of the studios, checking the actors’ profiles, looking for their social media, and investigating everything I could about this industry. Even though it fascinated me, I saw it as something very distant from me because, living in a third-world country like Venezuela, it was impossible and unthinkable to do something like that. So, over the years, I put it aside. After traveling through various cities in Europe and moving to Madrid, I discovered and experienced many new things. I put aside my prejudices and dared to start. I began, like many today, creating ‘soft porn’ content on Twitter. I started receiving incredible feedback from the public, who enjoyed my content. I decided to create an OnlyFans and post more explicit content of myself. This led to starting collaborations with other performers and then getting picked to film for different gay porn studios and production companies. I must admit that when I started creating content, I wasn’t aware of where it could lead. I don’t think I considered that I could reach the same level as other content creators/porn actors. I fondly remember my first interactions with people in the industry. John Brachalli, the first porn actor who contacted me to film, with whom I did my first collaboration (an orgy). After that, I met Allen King, and honestly, I think he saw my potential before I did. He was one of the people who encouraged me to see this job with the professionalism that I practice today. Allen has undoubtedly been a fundamental part of my growth, from the beginning and still today. Finally, my last push was Tim Kruger (literally one of my favorite porn actors ever, hahaha). My life literally changed when I received his message on Twitter, proposing to film not only for Timtales.com but also to do it with him. I was in shock, but obviously I accepted. That was my first studio film and it was amazing.

What have been some of the best surprises and hardest challenges so far?
I feel like everything has happened so fast. It's been crazy! After starting to film for studios in December of last year, I have already made a couple of films for different studios, and I have recently done a couple of live sex shows in Spain. One of the best surprises and, at the same time, a big challenge for me has been filming with my all-time favorite porn actors. Having the opportunity to meet them and work with them is fascinating, but it’s also a bit intimidating. I feel a great responsibility and always try to do my best so that despite having little experience, they can see me as a professional in what I do.

Could you tell us about your early life before Porn?
I’ve always been a guy who likes to be in constant motion, trying new things, experimenting, meeting people, and above all, learning from each experience. Before porn, I dedicated myself to working and learning about many areas: marketing, writing, journalism, audiovisual production, social media, public relations, and a few other things. Even within the world of porn, these skills continue to help me grow and achieve each of my goals. However, I still felt something was missing. I decided to take a 3-month trip through Europe, traveling alone and discovering a world that was unknown to me. Until that moment, I knew nothing except my country. After that, I decided I wanted to move here and start a new life with more freedom and more possibilities to do the things I had always wanted to do.
Was your early life in Venezuela repressive for you as a young Gay man?
Yes and no. Honestly, I didn’t feel it was repressive while living there, but it was; I just didn’t realize it. It wasn’t until after my trip to Europe (just two years ago) that I truly discovered that I had lived and grown up my whole life in constant repression. I grew up having a “quiet life” as a young gay man. I was basically in the shadows. I kept quiet because living that way in my country is normal. The problem is that while we don’t know another reality, we normalize the only one we know, and that’s what was happening to me.
What brought you to Spain? How is it different? For the Gay life and more?
I decided to move to Spain because I didn’t want to keep repressing my desires in my country. I wanted to be in a free place where you can express yourself without being judged by anyone. Venezuela is socially, economically, politically, and culturally backward. I love my native country, but unfortunately, the society there is damaged. I didn’t want to live my day-to-day life in that society and end up becoming the same. Madrid has been my dream city. I feel like it has given me a quality of life in one year that Venezuela could never give me in 24 years.

Tell us about your big break at the big studios so far.
So far, I have had the opportunity to work with Timtales, Menatplay, CarnalPlus, and Men.com, and I am grateful to all these teams because it has been wonderful working with each of them.
Do you prefer studio work or your own OnlyFans content? Why?
I can't compare them. They are very different types of content and I love both. But if I had to choose one, I would stick with studio work. I am sincerely passionate about it. Since I studied audiovisual production, I feel “like a fish in water” because I was already used to that world from the production side and not as the talent.
Are there any specific acts or thing(s) you haven't yet done on film (or in life) that you still want to try?
I think I would also like to try doing content with trans performers on camera. It has always caught my attention, but I haven’t had the opportunity yet.
Tell us a little bit about yourself outside of porn. Interests? Hobbies? Beliefs?Passions?
I think one of my great passions is traveling. I love discovering new places, but above all, meeting people from different countries around the world. Cultural exchange fascinates me, and I find it an incredible way to change your mind and understand the true cultural diversity (including the diversity of dicks) that exists in the world. I love coffee, going to the gym to train my body and destress, listening to music, and definitely sleeping… I love sleeping. I think it’s at the top of my favorite things to do, hahaha. I firmly believe in two things: energy and karma.
Who is the real Luciano?
I consider Yosue and Luciano to be the same person. For me, I didn’t create a character; I am still the same guy as before, just that I went from watching videos to being part of them. The way I am with my family is the same way I am with my friends and now with my colleagues and team.
Who are some performers who you want to work with? Why?
Undoubtedly, the first person that comes to mind is Diego Sans. I find him incredibly sexy and I have liked him for many years. Austin Wolf is also on my list of favorite actors I would like to film with someday.

Do you have any porn star heroes?
Four names automatically come to my mind: Allen King, Tim Kruger, Paddy O’Brian, and Rocco Steele.
How do you define a true "porn star"?
I honestly don’t know. I think I would say it’s about transcending over time. I believe what defines a porn star is a true passion for their work. The audience can notice that and that’s what makes you transcend.

Are you going to become one?
I would love to and I hope so. There is still a lot of work to do and a long way to go. Only time and the audience will tell.
