Werewolf meets vampire, sparks ensue, end scene. Who'd a thunk it that the two beautiful men above, DJ Qualls and Ty Olsson who play fan-favorite characters on Supernatural, would find love and happiness playing mythical beasts? Well, they are mythical beasts to many fans of the show Supernatural, where they met, became fast friends, and then like all shape-shifting creatures of the night, became something much more. They announced their impending nuptials the other day and fans are swooning!

This is one thing I could not see coming a million miles away, total sick! But I am so happy for the both of you, that you found a love in eachother that was worth fighting for AND celebrate! ❤️

DJ Qualls revealed the news first on his Locked and Probably Loaded podcast, explaining that the two met at a Supernatural fan convention and quickly became friends, and then so much more. Why did they meet at a convention when they were on the same show? It turns out their characters, DJ's werewolf "Garth" and Ty's vampire "Benny" had never shared screen time. So I guess the convention was Fate bringing them together!

DJ tells the story thus, as reported by EW:

"At the convention, we didn’t know each other at all — we maybe said three words together at the Supernatural convention, and then we went to London for four or five days afterward. And then I was going to Turkey with a friend, and [Olsson] is such a pure, awesome guy, he came up to us — we all went out as a group — and he was like, 'Can I come on your trip with you?' I could never invite myself on somebody’s trip, 'cause I’d be afraid they would begrudgingly tell me yes and then not want me there. But it was just so pure and awesome, and that’s who he is. I didn’t know him, and it was the beginning of our friendship."

Just look at the love in his eyes as he talks about his man!

So congratulations to these two! Now if werewolves can figure out the whole immortality thing, theirs will be a supernatural love literally for all time!
