Andrew Delta: From Porn to Portraits
Last month, we were invited to a photo shoot with Mark Hersh Photography featuring porn cutie Andrew Delta. Andrew is a total sweetheart and currently an ASGMax exclusive and also has been featured on Trailer Trash Boys and Carnal+'s Cum Dump Sluts. He's got that innocent look but tattoos and a butt that hint at some naughtiness. We got our BTS look and got to see Andrew in his model element. He is a pro that knows how to find his light and knows what angles work for him. Mark has photographed a wide array of adult film models and knows how to make them feel comfortable on set and gets them to reveal a side of their talent not usually found in their studio work.
We chatted with Andrew Delta about his time as an exclusive, being married while in the biz, and his take on changes in the adult industry.
When we last talked to you, you were relatively new to the studio scene with ASGmax. How has that been going so far, what have you learned most about the industry since?
It’s been great! Now that I have more scenes with them under my belt I am even happier with my decision to sign exclusive with ASGmax. I am learning a lot about production and how many people are involved with making all the magic happen.
What are the benefits of being a studio exclusive?
Well, I think the biggest benefit is the opportunity to build stronger relationships with everyone in the studio. The more comfortable I am on set I feel like the better the work turns out. Besides that, the higher scene rate, management, promotion, and guaranteed number of scenes per year are all great benefits to signing exclusively with ASGmax
You also film content for OnlyFans. Do you think OnlyFans challenges the studio structure or can porn fans be avid users of both?
Only Fans has been a disruptive force in the industry and we are still growing into the space that it has created. There will always be a demand for more produced work like what we see in studio films, some people just enjoy the story and fantasy of it all. But since OnlyFans, I feel like the fans have only benefited more, they have more options with what content they get to enjoy and are not limited to the models that are cast for studio work.
Across the nation, more and more states are restricting adult sites and contents in the name of protecting minors…what is your take on the situation and what do you think the ultimate outcome will be?
I'm not a prohibitionist by any means. I believe in most cases if an action doesn't directly harm or endanger others we should be free to explore it. History has shown us that limiting or baring access to some things has only backfired with the growth of black markets, substance abuse issues, and crime. Concerning the legislation surrounding this issue, I think it will be ineffective in deterring minors from accessing this content, limiting the rights of free speech, and potentially creating an unsafe legal landscape for both consumers and content creators.
I highly encourage people to check out the Free Speech Coalition for more information surrounding this topic.
You are currently in a relationship, how do balance your love life with your life as porn star Andrew Delta?
My husband and I will be celebrating 3 years of marriage this June, totaling 7 years together! With any relationship, communication is key, before I confirm any bookings or filming trips I always run it by my partner first and that helps tremendously!
A benefit to this career is that for the most part, I work at my own pace. Because my schedule is so flexible I usually work in two-week blocks, 4 or 5 times a year. It's like a marathon of filming, editing, and scheduling during those two weeks but when it's over I can usually take two and a half months off (less studio work) where I can spend with the hubby. Overall I'm very fortunate to have such a supportive and patient partner.
What advice do you have for someone thinking about getting into the industry?
Build and respect your brand, don't try to be something that you're not because it's not sustainable or healthy. Be professional and punctual, trust me it goes very far in this industry. Not everyone is going to be the top % earner on OF if you're chasing numbers and not having fun you're going to burn out fast.
What did you love most about your photo shoot with Mark?
Shooting with Mark Hersh was great! I appreciate his humor and he was so easy to work and flow with. I loved that he was open to ideas and the whole shoot was very collaborative.
You seemed very comfortable with all of your poses and right angles, what have you learned about photography from a model’s standpoint from doing these kinds of photoshoots?
Thanks, I've had plenty of practice over the past few years! I still have no idea how to use a camera to the caliper of these amazing photographers, but my experience with past shoots and my background in the arts has helped me develop an understanding of composition, lighting, and mood. Who knows maybe I'll pick up a camera and try my hand at it sometime in the near future.
What are the most important things for a porn star to know about doing a non-porn-based photo shoot?
Even if you are just in your underwear or naked there are so many moods that you can express and capture. Explore looks outside of your conventional smolder and you will be amazed at the amazing shots you will get.

We had a chat with Mark in between shots:
How did you come to shoot Andrew Delta, what drew you to him?
After many months of talking Andrew and I were finally available on the same date with both of our busy schedules. I was very excited we were finally going to be able to shoot together. I first noticed Andrew on Instagram and reached out to him as I definitely wanted to add him to my portfolio. His tattoos and handsome boyish looks are what me to him.
