Last week, Carnal+ added to its growing roster of hot exclusives by announcing Jay Stryker as its newest model. We caught up with Carnal's new exclusive to chat about getting into the industry, what he's learned so far, becoming a studio exclusive, navigating his personal and porn life, and more!

How did you end up getting into the adult film industry and becoming Jay Stryker?

I’ve always been confident and had a good time in the bedroom. Eventually, a past partner pushed me in this direction and helped me create an OnlyFans account and it has steadily gotten better over the years leading me to where I am now with Carnal Media.

What do you wish you would have known before starting in the adult world?

It can be really stressful at times navigating the individual personalities and events/travels that happen around the adult industry. You have to learn how to work with different types of people and not get too bothered by anything

What do you think the fascination between the older/younger relationship in porn is?

Part of the fantasy lies around the usual taboo, the forbidden, the contrast of it all. What’s hotter than 2 things that look the same or 2 different types paired? The different types give more people the opportunity to connect.

What has surprised you the most since getting into the industry?

It was really cool finding out that everyone I have had to work with so far has had a really great personality and was easy to get along with. Didn’t realize it would be so fun and there would be so much travel.

What do you want most from your director?

Communication is key during the scenes. I want to make sure that I understand what they are looking for and meeting the mark.

What makes the perfect scene partner?

Outside of the studio I appreciate partners that are reliable. Inside of the studio, it makes the scene more fun if I am able to make some sort of personal connection with them.

What was filming your first scene with Carnal like?

I had a blast shooting my first scene with Fun-Sized Boys. The crew was very welcoming and the models were sexy. As a ‘King Sized’ guy it was nice to be on the site that I’m the right size for lol.

What do you love most about working with Carnal?

The Carnal studio is really a big family. I feel like they have each other’s backs and look out for one another. Not to mention the bi-monthly Carnal All Stars events.

What do you think sets the content created by Carnal apart from others in the industry?

Carnal really works hard to create a fantasy, and takes people into a unique universe. It’s not just 2 hot guys fucking.

What does it mean the most to you to be named a Carnal Exclusive?

I’ve seen many models from other studios not get the support on the scene and in their personal lives that I’ve seen and received from Carnal Studios. It feels like they really want us to be healthy and grow with them. With Carnal I see a company taking action and not just lip service.

What are the benefits of being a studio exclusive?

You get a lot more opportunities and benefits by being exclusive. We get a lot of additional support in the background that not only promotes the studio but enhances our ability to grow our personal business. A real focus on me as a business and wanting to partner together to grow my personal income. Carnal All Star events!

What do you think sets Jay Stryker apart from other performers in the industry?

I am able to fit a variety of different scenes due to my body image and you never really understand how tall I am until you’re in the same room as me. I bring a full-rounded package and am in the small % of very tall men performing.

How do you balance your porn and personal life as Jay Styker?

My travel with the studio becomes more like a vacation away from life. I get to go enjoy a new location and connect with new models. Then I return home and focus on the gym and my routine.

What do you think the future of gay porn looks like?

It is hard to say. As time goes on we get to see a lot more specific scenes and fetishes arise that you didn’t see 10 years ago. People are becoming more accepting and it has led to a lot of diversity.

You also film content for OnlyFans. Do you think OnlyFans challenges the studio structure or can porn fans be avid users of both?

OnlyFans does challenge the norm of the studio structure and has created a social media-like feel to porn. Outside of X and Instagram, we now have a content site that is based on the image we make with our fans specifically. The studio provides a structured space to fulfill a directed fantasy that tends to bring more models together in a safe space. Users can definitely enjoy what both have to offer. Carnal directly helps me grow my OnlyFans revenue not just perform on their sites, they see me as a business equal to partner with.

Across the nation, more and more states are restricting adult sites and content in the name of protecting minors. What is your take on the situation and what do you think the ultimate outcome will be?

I support the need for the safety of our minors, but more importantly, I support the education of our youth. It is more important that they learn the importance of healthy sex from a trusted source.

What advice do you have for someone thinking about getting into the industry?

Honestly, if it is something you are on the fence about you should try it. Content Creators come and go all the time. You will know if it is something you enjoy once you get into it.

What is your message to your fans?

I know my fans are all living different lives and I want everyone to understand that your goals are important. In whatever you do, go after what you want in life with confidence and you’ll find a way to make it work.
