Top 10 Most Influential Real Housewives
Yes, we gays love our Real Housewives of Whatever. Riding on the popularity of NBC's Desperate Housewives, Bravo released The Real Housewives of Orange County in 2006. Who knew that that little show would spawn such an empire that has changed pop culture, reality TV, and social media as we knew it? Over the years, the gays have eaten up all of the delicious catfights, sassy one-liners, over-the-top fashion, and drama-filled reunions. And though the allure may have dulled and legal woes have tarnished the brand a bit, the empire is still going strong and shows no signs of slowing down.
Our friends at KingsCasinoBonus have conducted a thorough study to find out who the most influential Real Housewives are. Their research team looked at and analyzed everything - Google searches, social media followers, social media engagement, and potential earnings to whittle the list down from the 56 total Housewives to the top 10. Here's what they found.
Coming in first Real Housewives of Atlanta's Kandi Burruss. Although she just recently announced that she is leaving the franchise, she is the longest-running Housewife at 15 seasons. She has a huge social media following, almost 11 million, and had a lucrative career in music before she even appeared on the show. She's currently involved in a number of other projects, and she stated she wants to explore other options. A sponsored IG post from her is valued at around $108 K.
Coming in second is Larsa Pippen from the Real Housewives of Miami. Even though she has a very low engagement rate, her Instagram followers range in the over 5 million range. A sponsored IG post from her is valued at around $54K. She caused a social media stir just today for posting a highly edited picture on Insta that makes her almost unrecognizable.

Third place winner is Kyle Richards from Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. We thought she'd be higher, considering all the drama she had this last season with your failing marriage and alleged relationship with a woman. She is the top ten of Google searches for the reality TV group. IG-sponsored posts could range around $44K.
Salt Lake City’s Angie Katsanevas is in fourth place. She has the second lowest amount of searches and the least followers. BUT, she has the highest engagement rate of them all. Goes to show that just having followers doesn't always mean the most. Her followers are faithful and she knows how to interact with them.
Rounding out the Top 5 is New Jersey Real Housewife Teresa Giudice. She's had so much drama over her seasons and has been in the news for legal and marital issues. It seems Bravo fans have tired of her continuing fights with sister-in-law Melisssa Gorga. She's launched a million products but yet has a very low social media engagement rate of 0.51% engagement rate. Still, she rounds out the top of searches!
