Hank’s Public Privates Has Billy Magnussen, from Movies to Broadway

I'm not sure exactly what element of six-pack stud Billy Magnussen works harder: his incredible acting talent or his incredible washboard abs and muscular body! Sure, most people know him as playing dopey hunks with a heart, because his blonde locks and stunning form are what sell, but luckily this guy has the acting chops to back up his beefcake. He might be just this side of 40, but he's just entering his prime, able to carry off "hot young jock" and "hot daddy" in one fell swoop. Friends from College

This 2017 limited comedy series finds the aforementioned friends reuniting, affairing, messing up, and falling in and out of like and love. Billy's role is small but damn, does he pack a punch as SNL's Kate Mcinnon's hubby, showing off that fantastic torso, complete with acrobatic belly role.

Made For Love

Billy goes full Ken Doll in this sci-fi comedy-drama when he plays Cristin Molioti's domineering husband who's implanted a device in her brain to link them together forever. That's okay, he doesn't have to show his junk. This is just fine.

Happy Tears

Before he was trying to convince Daniel Craig's James Bond to come back into service, it's in this 2009 family drama, his first film we might add, that he went full frontal for just a brief moment when those briefs you see disappear and we get a glimpse of his other pronounced talent. He was only 24 and while he might not show his peen elsewhere, we give him credit for leaving something to the imagination.

It's not the best project he's attached his name to, though it does feature a pre-Shameless/The Bear Jeremy Allen White, and a bare-buttocked 50 Cent. Oh yeah, and Billy pumping iron, let's not forget that!

Tell Me a Story

Okay, because you've been patient, here's a video clip of a blood-smeared Billy showering off in Kevin Williamson's anthology series where fairy tales are repurposed into more adult fare in a dystopian NYC.

Road House

In 2019 Billy appeared alongside the equally ripped Jake Gyllenhaal in the artistically weird and wonderful Velvet Buzzsaw. This year the two show even more flesh as they battle each other over the life and soul of a rough-and-tumble bar in the Florida Keyes in the remake of the Patrick Swayze-starring film of the same name. Let the ab battle begin!

And just so you don't go away thinking that Billy is just another pretty butt and face, I'd be remiss in ignoring his stage presence as well. He made his Broadway debut at the age of 22 in the Rosie Perez-starring reprise of Terrence McNally's The Ritz. But it was more than a decade later when he was nominated for a Tony for featured Actor in a Play when he originated the role of "Spike" alongside such luminaries as David Hyde Pierce and Sigourney Weaver in Christopher Durang's Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike.
