Denim Frenzy Courtesy of Beyoncé's Cowboy Carter: Men In Jeans

Not only did Beyoncé's release of her country-ish album Cowboy Carter make a frenzy in the music and social media scenes, but now it's causing a stir in the fashion world. Fashion experts Dalston Mills Fabrics conducted an analysis of Google search data and have reported that searches for denim and cowboy-related fashion have exploded worldwide.

Immediately following her release, "flared jeans" hit an all-time high worldwide, exploding at a 372% growth. Please god, no...not flared jeans. After Queen Bee posted a vest look, searches hit a five-year high at a 105% increase. The term "double denim" hit a record high at 126%. Overall, the Cowboy Carter album has contributed to an overall 333% increase in cowboy-related fashion as compared to the last five years. Yee haw!

So this brings us back to men's denim. We know that we have just come out of the super slim jean era, where the denim literally clung to every inch of the leg resulting in an almost emo look. While it highlighted the musculature of a man's lower region, it didn't really exude that masculine cowboy look. In fact, not only did the gays embrace it, but it also became a further step for metrosexuals to come to our side.

We've always admired a nice bulge or booty in a tight-fitting pair of jeans. Maybe this denim cowboy craze will bring back the jean cut of an earlier era when a guy could be going bowling or wrangling cows. Less fashion-minded and more manly-minded. Bring back the Levis!
