The Hottest Movie Trailers That Dropped This Week
This week was an embarrassment of riches when it came to movie trailers. Some of the most anticipated films dropped some first looks and we are gagged. We wrapped up the top trailers and are giving our take on what's coming to theaters.
Beetlejuice Beetlejuice
We got a teaser trailer for Beetlejuice 2 a couple of months ago, but Warner Bros. has finally released a full trailer with footage and a deep dive into the highly anticipated sequel, coming 36 years after the original. Yes, you read that right. 36 years! Tim Burton is back in the driver's seat and Wynona Rider and Catherine O'Hara are back reprising their roles, as well as Michael Keaton. We LOVE the new take on Day-O. Check it out.
The Penguin
Coming to Max, The Penguin is the Batman spinoff starring one of our favorite hot Irish men, Collin Ferrell. Unfortunately, he's almost unrecognizable here. But, it looks good and we are in! This is all we are going to get from the new Batman version, since the sequel for that has been pushed to 2026.
The Acolyte
Ok, everyone calm down. LOL. Fans went crazy as the new Star Wars show The Acolyte released its trailer. The show will detail the fall of the Jedi and deal with both Jedi and Sith. Gay nerds almost passed out. The show is said to be action-packed, with a whole new slew of characters. Let's just hope it is better than some of the other Star Wars spinoffs. Can a show without any of our beloved characters be successful? We shall see.
Alien: Romulus
This one we are really excited about. Alien: Romulus is said to be going back to Alien roots and relying more on the horror aspect of the franchise rather than the thought-provoking fare we've been given with some of the other iterations. This film takes place between the first and second movies in the Alien series. WE CAN'T WAIT!
Furiosa
Anya Taylor-Joy looks kick-ass, taking over for Charlize Theron in this Mad Max reboot prequel. Perfectly sculpted hottie Chris Hemsworth is playing the villain with biceps bulging. We loved the reboot and this will be in that same vein so we will definitely be on hand to watch.
The Fall Guy
Ok, for some fun. Emily Blunt and Ryan Gosling team up for this rom-com with action. It looks cute, fun, and silly. Plus we love seeing Ryan get all sweaty. This will be a Sunday matinee movie fare.
