Timothee Chalamet in Call Me By Your Name.
Mr. Man has some solid opinions about who the current crop of up-and-coming A-List actors are to watch out for, and Hank's Public Privates is ready to share them with you! A-List is a difficult level to achieve and is not to be confused with Who's Hot Now. Sure these men are hot now, but we're talking lasting power; they've proven their ability to ground a film or series, and they have the bankability that producers look for. Men like Pitt, Clooney, and DiCaprio are the A-List level these younger men are striving for, and achieving. So keep them on your radar!

Timothée Chalamet
We're starting off strong here with Chalamet, who is probably best poised among this group to take the reign of top A-Lister. You simply can't ignore his meteoric rise starting with artie indie fair like Call Me by Your Name to blockbusters like Wonka and Dune Parts 1 and 2. He's got a pretty face and the acting chops to match. With a quiet sultriness to his demeanor, he's also willing to push erotic boundaries that have people of all genders and orientations squirming in their theater seats.
Glen Powell
Gays first noticed this former stuntman and all-around hunk in Scream Queens as the funny and doomed Frat Guy. General audiences took notice when he costarred alongside Tom Cruise in Top Gun: Maverick when he delivered a great performance, as well as a great shirtless volleyball scene! And when he drops trou in the rom-com Anyone But You? Forget it, this star is now burning brightly!
Jacob Elordi
This Australian stud made waves starring in Euphoria, but when he jacked it in a tub in Saltburn and then came to a mysterious demise, audiences were enraptured. Mr. Man reports he has six projects in the works, including a turn as The Monster in a new Frankenstein which has me groaning "Elordi...gooood."
Jharrel Jerome
Jerome broke our hearts in the tender gay story Moonlight and he does an interesting turn as a thirteen-foot-tall teen in I'm a Virgo where, yes, he does show his naked backside. he's also the voice of Miles G. Morales in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. he seems to be doing a Johnny Depp, choosing carefully crafted projects that are heavy on quality as he builds his brand. Keep it going!
Paul Mescal
This Irish hunk is banging his GF in Normal People and he's licking jizz off Andrew Scott's chest in All of Us Strangers. What can't he do? We're looking forward to his turn in Gladiator 2 and his shapely form in Roman cosplay gear! He's holding his own in big titles with his big talent!
Steven Yeun
He moved us throughout his role in The Walking Dead and he gave us chills in last year's mega-hit Beef walking away with a ton of awards. The industry and fans have no beef with this star on the rise!
Tom Holland
This man went from nerd to stud as one of the Spider-Men. He's since moved into heavier dramatic fare which has him showing more flesh and the rest of us shooting webs. Sure, let's call it that!
Barry Keoghan
I'm going to leave you with whom I think is one of the most interesting actors around. Sure he bared all in Saltburn with his mysterious sexual intrigue and held his own in heavy hitters like Killing of a Sacred Deer and Dunkirk, but it was his turn as the doomed "Dominic" in the stunning The Banshees of Inisherin that had many of us spellbound by his subtle and wrenching performance. This guy went from foster homes to heralded award winner, and his trajectory is straight up!
