It was my distinct pleasure to receive such candid and inviting answers from the latest Exclusive over at Carnal+, Grant Ducati. The handsome young Southerner chatted about his dreams as he starts this new phase in his career, relocating closer to home, the men he loves to work with, and his further aspirations behind the camera. If you're not as familiar with Mr. Ducati as you should be, first, shame on you (!), and second, click here to read our interview with him last Spring to find out more about his history in the industry.

Talk to us about signing on as a Carnal exclusive. What does that mean exactly, for those who don't know?
Oh of course! Basically, it gives me the opportunity to work more closely with a studio, in this case, Carnal. While I’ll miss working with the teams from past studios, I really love the sense of belonging and the familial feel of this amazing group of people. That has all definitely reignited my interest in the industry big time!
Will you still be doing your own content for your Only Fans and other personal work?
Absolutely! That’s actually one of the major benefits of Carnal as an exclusive, we get invited to all the collab events which mesh studio and collab work so everyone walks away with some really amazing content. On top of that I’ve been working more closely with PornHub and I’m investing more time while I’m at home to my milking table content (it’s SO much fun!).
What do you hope to bring that is unique to the Carnal content?
Honestly, my experience. A majority of Carnal’s content focuses on what’s called “contrast porn”, which is something I’m not new to. I’m familiar with some of the themes and how to play them out, and it’s nice to really be able to bring something as valuable as experience to the table when proving yourself to a new company.
What are you hoping changes or expands for you as a performer now that you're exclusive with them?
I really want to expand my internet presence for sure. It hasn’t been a huge focus for me in about a year and it’s about time to refocus now that I have reliable and safe means to create the content I want to and great people who believe in me as a performer as well as a person. I’d also love to bring my edging and milking “hobby” to studio this year. There’s so much straight content around it but it’s such a niche on the gay side of the industry and I’m really enjoying it!

It seems a lot has changed since we last spoke with you last Spring. You'd only been in the biz a couple of years or so. What's been the most exciting stuff to happen, besides Carnal?
Oh lord, I think the biggest change has been switching coasts! I wasn’t a fan of LA; the proximity to the bulk of the industry wasn’t worth tolerating the mess, gas prices, cost of living, traffic, car repairs because of the abysmal infrastructure, etc. Plus I’m closer to my family over in Birmingham, AL now and you really can’t beat southern hospitality.
You've mentioned previously your love of Daddies. You've filmed some great scenes with Derek Kage, and most recently you topped Ace Banner for Twink Tops which, if I may say, was pretty stunning. I won't ask if you have a favorite, but is there anyone who stands out as being a special pairing? Anyone you're looking forward to working with?
Ugh, Derek is a dream! Legrand was pretty spectacular in a recent ultrasound video we did and I’m really looking forward to working with him again soon. As I’ve started to top more often though Chance Hart and Kane Fox are new favorites of mine, and I really want to see myself with my fellow Carnal exclusives Dex Devall and Eddie Patrick really soon!
As you've grown in your work, would you consider yourself a twink? A twunk? Or do you prefer to let the viewer decide? What's your perception of yourself as a performer? How does being a Southerner impact your work and your approach to your scene partners?
At this point, I really just leave it up to the viewer because I’ve heard both. I’m definitely hearing “twunk” a lot more often here lately and I don’t hate it lol. I really hadn’t thought about how my upbringing affects my scenes though. I’ve leaned into the “sweet southern boy” a lot more here lately though, I think my fans appreciate how much more genuine I come across.

You've talked previously about your first-ever scene with Cade Maddox, that his Southern charm "got (you) out of (your) head." Now imagine the tables turned, and you're the scene partner for someone's first filmed scene. What's happening? Are you topping or bottoming, and what would you do to make sure their first time is as great as your first time?
Patience is a big part of it at times, but I’ve learned from him to really focus on staying calm and professional and lead by example while also working to connect with my partner as early on as possible because it makes things so much easier if I can make sex on camera feel more like a hookup for the both of us. If I’m bottoming then I do my full prep so there’s no possibility of me holding up production, and if I’m topping then I’m using my bottoming experience to make sure my partner is comfortable and enjoying themselves. Having a strong boner does also help in case they need breaks for touch-ups and whatnot. I’m super thankful to have worked with so many industry legends because I pay attention and soak everything I see up like a sponge; I’d really advise any new performer to do the same.

In that previous interview, you mentioned a desire to work with many directors to learn the production side of the business. How does that play into your performances? Will we be seeing a "directed by" credit any time soon?
I hope so!! I could see that happening in the next year or so with Carnal for sure. Understanding what my directors and cameramen are actually going for has significantly improved my performances I think. My first performance with Cade was a little shaky. I hadn’t ever acted before and it was a pretty “big” gig for someone brand new like I was so I was anxious. Now, I know how to work with a crew like a part of a team working together to get the best possible product and so I feel like I’ve been closing the gap between performer and producer in a way that really sets me up to step behind the camera.
Who is Grant Ducati off the set and away from the cameras?
Ha, well I’m a lot more of a shy introvert than I probably come across online. I couldn’t ever gogo, let alone just dance on a box. But I live here in Atlanta with my boyfriend and two pups, love German cars, traveling, and spending time with friends up in Blue Ridge, GA (the one from that Country Roads song Lana just covered). Oh and duh, I’m a huge Lana Del Rey fan! The name Grant actually comes from her legal last name, Elizabeth Grant!
What's a great date for you, and what's a dream date?
Anything that begins with sex and ends with drinks and hopefully more sex. I love a good f*ck to kick off a date because the rest is just more fun. A perfect date would consist of sex, dinner, and drinks (or the dog park), and home by 8 for more butt stuff!
What makes you belly laugh, and what can bring a tear to your eye?
Absolutely Fabulous. Joanna Lumley is probably my favorite TV actor aside from David Tennant and Catherine Tate, who coincidentally both easily bring a tear to my eye anytime I rewatch Doctor Who. So female British comedians make me belly laugh and cry the most!
Got a favorite book or movie you'd like to share?
Saltburn, of course! If you haven’t seen it it’s a wonderful film about a queer Irish boy who loves dancing, straight boys, and cleaning bathtubs. Highly recommend!
And finally...Jason Kelce or Travis Kelce?
Well, like the Old El Paso girl in the commercials used to say, “Why not both?” Kidding but that’s such a hard choice! Probably Travis; I’m not a home wrecker (or at least I don’t want to get dragged on the radio) and I’d make a wonderful brother-in-law to Ms. Swift!
