Award Winners Jayden Marcos and Roman Todd Come Together for the First Time, Flipping for ASGmax

No, "come together" is not a euphemism!

I'm going to go out on a limb here and declare my appreciation for dialogue and a bit of a storyline in my adult viewing. Sure, many guys will tell you they just want to see the action. But I'm all for letting some other people in on the porn action, like writers and creative techies: your lighting people, your directors who work with some actual thought in mind, and your art directors. ASGmax has been attempting to bring more than just a "wham bam thank you sir" approach to their scenes and shorts.

Clearly influenced by the fantastic work over at Disruptive Films, they aim to step things up a notch. Will they always succeed? No, but at least it's an attempt to be more interesting. Their recent foray brings together for the first time in a studio scene two stunning and award-winning performers, Jayden Marcos and Roman Todd in "Closing Time."

They're not going for a plotted-out short film here, but rather a sweet slice of life as these two characters reach for romance. Marcos has been coming to the restaurant where Todd works week after week, and his nervous, stilted dialogue adequately displays his nervousness when Todd strikes up a conversation and pushes him to admit his intentions. How many times have we yelled at characters on screen "JUST SAY IT! JUST TALK TO HIM!" This is kind of like that.

Marcos gets the nerve to move out of his comfort zone and go talk to his handsome object of desire. At the bard, timid smiles and brief electric flashes of touch as a finger extends across the back of a hand create a heated vibe, and they're in a bubble of their own with a few remaining customers in the room. They want to learn more about each other, and as Todd describes the man of his dreams, and what he might do, Marcos makes that attempt. Knocking silverware to the floor, they both hunch down behind the bar, gaze longingly into each other's eyes, and let their lips meet.

Okay, there might be more than just their lips meeting, because what follows is some pretty great flipping sex. What's best about it is that the sex is character-driven, and you don't find this very often in porn. Sure you can laugh away your ideas about "acting in porn" but honey, it's there when you look for it. When you sense that looks, movements, reactions, and actions stem organically from the connection not of the performers but of the characters, then guess what, you have acting in porn!

Todd and Marcos pull this off with an agility that seems natural and a connection that is difficult to fake. As Marcos said of filming this scene: “It's always fun to play into a fantasy scene, and this one was beautifully done." Todd had similar feelings about how their pairing: "...the chemistry was on fire! It was obvious we were clearly into each other!”

The simultaneous eruption that closes the scene after both men have back-and-forth turns at each other is only a testament to truly cohesive action. So did these two characters find their perfect men in each other?
