Reese Scott and Hunter Graham’s Series at Carnal+ Sparks Some Musings on Taboo Fantasy

Okay guys, let's talk about fauxcest fantasy. No, seriously, because it seems to be the biggest taboo in porn that everyone loves to be titillated by but no one would dare admit to fantasizing about themselves. If homosexuality is the "love that dare not speak its name" then fauxcest is the fantasy that the unspeakable get to moralize about.

And if anyone knows about bringing that fantasy to your small screen for you to enjoy in the secrecy of your home, or office, or home office, it's Carnal+ and their Gaycest site featuring unrestricted descriptive language when it comes to their couplings. Their "Staying With..." series is just one ongoing storyline featuring couples that don't hide behind the use of the "step" prefix to make the scenes more palatable. Nope, they go straight (pun intended) for the relationship that makes seems to turn everyone on but also makes everyone, publicly, go "EW!"

Reese Scott and Hunter Graham are the elder and younger, respectively, in this series, and as fantastic as they are together (in four "episodes" now,) one can't help but wonder what draws some viewers to this popular ongoing bang-fest. Is it the gorgeous men themselves, or the extremely naughty and, apparently, socially irredeemable nature of their fantasy relationship?

Full disclosure, just by typing anything else instead of "stepdad and stepson" might get yer boy Hank here seriously edited because of internet searches and algorithms and whatnot that can result in lowered search response...or something. It's just frowned upon, is what I'm saying. So we'll see how this post actually looks once published.

So how prevalent is "fauxcest?" I did a quick search and, well, I gotta say, from the number of responses and stuff I'm reading, with nothing being scientifically reported on, let's just say...it's big, and it's out there, and it turns people on and riles them up. It's triggering, to be sure, and it gets guys' triggers ready to shoot.

Over at the Quora site, one responder to a question about gay male fantasy vs. reality answered rather startlingly with this personal story of a sexual relationship that may be considered taboo: When I’m inside of him or he’s buried in me, we feel nobody in the world can hurt us and that we have each other. We’re supportive of each other and best friends, we have each other's back when one is having relationship issues or a life crisis. We share each other's joy. Regardless if the two of us are single or one is with someone else, me and him will share sexual intimacy until we grow old. We are each other's first and will be each other's last.

That's a lot to unpack, the first thing being whether this is true or a fantasy someone typed out to display as true, but it's really not. In the same way, youth will play with using curse words to get the feel of them and see if they can get away with it, simply typing out a personal fantasy that one knows many will be shocked by, even disgusted by, is a thrill some get off on. I'm going to go with it sounds more like fantasy, but hey, who am I to yuck someone's consensual yum?

Are taboo fantasies more of a gay thing? A straight thing? Another commenter at Quora shared that "(This kind) of fantasy is a strong fantasy for people of all sexual orientations, no more so for gay people than straight. Gay people however are more likely to be frank about their fetishes, because they have already faced coming out of the closet over being gay." Good point.

An important factor in all Carnal+ scenarios to make clear is that the representation is of consensual sex...and a fantasy! In fact very often, as with the case of Scott and Graham, their characters, and never forget they are playing characters of course, the sexual component of their relationship begins because the younger man is curious and impels the elder to act. And let's please be adults and remember, fantasies are safe spaces in thought and sometimes in deed where the taboo can be explored amongst consensual adults. So settle down.
