On Set for Dakota Payne's Smoke & Mirrors
Hot off the heels of many adult industry nominations for Luxxxe Studio's Friends in Heat series, they headed back in front of the camera for the filming of Dakota Payne's Smoke & Mirrors music video - and we got the first peek.
The music video follows up the single release earlier this year, written and produced for Luxxxe Studios' Friends in Heat Season 2, coinciding with the release of the series Episode 2. The song is co-written by adult film personality Dakota Payne and Trent Park, and executive produced by Luxxxe Studios CEO JD Daniels.
Still one of our favorite adult content creators, Dakota has spent much of the last year away from the adult industry, focusing on his new music and artistic career. We have loved following his journey. Trust us, he's still steaming up the scene. Did you catch his release of S.A.D.?
Executive Producer of the music video and CEO of Luxxxe JD Daniels shared thoughts from the day of filming and sent us some behind-the-scenes content to pique our interest.

What an incredible out-of-this-world experience one (such as myself) could ever ask for in a music video of what I’ve witnessed behind the scenes. Dakota Payne and director Ron Katagiri have created a groundbreaking piece of art that is gonna captivate audiences - not only in complete awe but will keep you wanting more and more. Dakota’s interpretation and presentation of the song mixed with the music video is no other than sheer brilliant talent at its best. I’m truly looking forward to the release of this beautifully crafted music video for “Smoke & Mirrors." This music video and his creativity of the song (he has written and produced along with talented musician and producer - Trent Park) will truly demonstrate what an incredible artist Dakota is in more ways than one.
We also have the honor and privilege of having the two sexy main lead stars of the Friends In Heat series (who are truly great and wonderful men) - Justin Yurmouth and Brian Bonds in the music video which is a great treat in itself. I’m very confident the fans are gonna enjoy seeing them together in a fiery, and steamy fashion along with Dakota Payne and his dancers.
Many thanks to everyone involved including Director Ron Katagiri, Trent Park, Justin Yurmouth, Brian Bonds, the dancers, crew, make-up artist, and most of all Dakota Payne. I know and feel in my heart and soul the audience will love it as much as we all did. This will not only be historical one day but a forever classic music video and song for many years to come.
