Colman Domingo's name is on almost everyone's lips in Hollywood. Announced earlier this week as an Oscar nominee, he is the second ever gay man to be nominated for an Oscar for playing a gay man (Sir Ian McKellan was the first.) Colman has received critical acclaim and become a darling of the Awards season for his portrayal of gay civil rights activist Bayard Rustin in Rustin. If you haven't seen it yet, GO SEE IT. He can currently also be seen as the abusive Mister in The Color Purple opposite Fantasia Barrino. Although he played such an evil character in The Color Purple, we couldn't help but notice his muscled chest and how well he filled out those pants...something else besides his acting chops that is starting to become his brand. It is only recently that his sexuality has been talked about. He has said in recent interviews that he never really had a big Hollywood coming out, he just was who was to no fanfare. Now all of the media headlines are talking about it as he continues the legacy of queer representation in A-List films. It was just recently announced that he will be playing Michael Jackson's father in the much-talked-about biopic coming to theaters next year.
With all the attention on his acting, and rightfully so, we couldn't help but to notice his amazing style. Of course he is one of us, he's got that swag and the fashion sense. We wanted to give him kudos for his looks, he dominates on the red carpet.
Check out his style for the Critics Choice Awards, I mean come on! Playing with color and flair, he's got those high-waisted pants that are a nod to classic Hollywood (also pulls up on the bulge nicely) and with his shirt open he mixes sensuality and style. Why do the women get to have all the fun on the red carpet?

He is not a Hollywood newbie, although the awards attention makes him seem like a recent success. He went to high school with Will Smith (hmmm, I wonder if there are some stories there), and studied journalism at university. After moving to San Francisco, he started diving into acting via theatre. He received a Tony nomination for the Kander & Ebb musical The Scottsboro Boys. He would go on to appear in some major films like Lincoln and The Butler but found bigger-name fame in Fear the Walking Dead and Euphoria leading up to his current films and fame.
For the Emmy Awards, he wore custom Louis Vuitton head to toe. He looked dashing with a long coat that highlighted his tall stature. With high-heeled shoes and a glitzy brooch, he made that flair look manly hot.

Ok, even his sleepwear is sexy. What we wouldn't give to have him make us breakfast in bed only wearing this robe.
