After a loooong time of no posts, Lil Nas X made his first couple of posts and his recent post is a DOOZY and already causing controversy. No stranger to making a stir with accusations of his showing too much skin and being sacrilegious and super gay...to that, we say yayyyy, slay Nas!
Well, check out the latest image for his new single drop...he's basically Jesus in this mock-up.

Jesus is looking pretty steamy...maybe it's time to go back to church. Three years ago he was dancing on a stripper pole for the devil and now he's the Big Man himself. What a makeover! Titled "J Christ," the new single will drop at midnight on January 12th. Lil Nas added his quote: “My new single is dedicated to the man who had the greatest comeback of all time!”
The single assumedly will kick off his second album. His Twitter (are we just saying X now?) has been a bit cryptic with him saying, “Y’all mind if I enter my Christian era?” There's a bit of an acoustic song that shows him dancing on an empty street with a t-shirt that reads: “If God doesn’t exist then who’s laughing at u.” Fans were quick to transcribe some of the lyrics from the clip: “I call on angels / I’m trying hard to face my pain, yeah / Give me hope when I feel / Give me hope when I feel less.” Girlllll...seems like he's getting deep!
Already causing a stir, his critics are saying he is evil and to place himself on the cross is a disgrace. In Los Angeles, there are posters hung up that show Lil Nas X in the fires of hell with a plea for him to change his ways. Some are saying this is just another gimmick of his. Remember when we came out with his Satan Shoes? LOL. His response that he posted to on X: “Y’all see everything I do as a gimmick. When in reality I’m just an artist expressing myself in different ways. Whether I’m a cowboy, gay, satanic, or now Christian y’all find a problem! Y’all don’t police nobody else art like mine. Y’all hate me because I’m fun cute and petite.” If I had a dollar for every twink who has said that line.
So let's see what comes out on January 12th. In any case, he will get all the attention whether good or bad...and I'm sure at the end of the day he doesn't care what people say...all the way to the bank. Let's just hope there's no more UberEats commercials in his future.
