Over at Mr. Man, we found the film The Latent Image, a Queer-centric horror flick from last year in which a gay writer hides out in his isolated cabin to crank it out. Another novel! Crank out another novel, ya pervs! When his film baddies jump from the page to his front door ready for their next kill, that’s when things get interesting.
In the midst of all this is our protagonist Ben (Joshua Tonks). Ben has nasty thoughts and sexy encounters. There are BJs with William Tippery and jerk-offs and full frontal by Jay Clift. And meandering through all this is the unsettling feeling that something may not be right with Ben.

William Tippery and Joshua Tonks
Oh man, just where is this gonna go? Will these two hotties hook up in the deep dark woods, or will one not make it out alive? And if something bad happens, can they hook up first?
Joshua Tonks
Eh, maybe things didn't work out? If he's left jerking it by himself in the hallway...oh, but wait a minute...
Bazinga!
Gentlemen, we have pre-stabby lift-off.
Jay Clift
Then this guy shows up, needing a shower. And anything else? Anything at all? Anything?! Clift arrives as another mystery man. Is he a villain or prey? Potential lover? A figment of Ben's imagination? We don't care, cuz he's friggin' naked all over the place!
Oh, wait! I get it now! It's not the image that's latent! So much has already been said about why Queers are attracted to the horror genre that it’s almost boring. But still, it continues to be a treasure trove of repressed feelings manifested in nasty ways, or vengeful fantasies by the socially powerless, so we’ll just run with it. Essays have been written; a documentary or two are out there; hell, a buddy of mine helped write a book about it! Besides, yer boy Hank here is all about the horror and the Queers so, hey, any time they can get combined, let’s rock out with our cocks out!
