He's been called "The King of All Muscle Daddies" and that title is just so appropriate. With his deep blue eyes, inviting grin, bodybuilder's physique, and drool-inducing 10-inch uncut cock, there is just no other way to describe Tomas Brand. Tomas has been a dominant presence at Lucas Entertainment for 10 years now, providing us with one beautiful scene after another. We don't want Tomas to ever stop, but in this revealing interview, he provides some updates about where he is at and some of his future plans.
So what is the latest with the legendary Tomas Brand?
Oh, calling me a legend might be a bit of an overstatement. I'm doing well, thanks. I'm currently single and, for the first time in 30 years, living on my own. I've been dealing with a foot injury these past few years, which has been quite a challenge, but thankfully, I'm completely healed now, which feels amazing. And there's something new and exciting in my life: I've become a dog owner for the first time. I have a five-month-old American Staffordshire Terrier named Cleo. She's still a puppy, but she's already bringing so much joy and unconditional love into my life. It's a whole new experience for me, and I'm loving every moment of it. Plus, I feel like I'm in a really good place in my life right now. It's a time of healing, growth, and new beginnings.
You have been in the industry for some time now. What has been the secret to your longevity? How have you managed to keep your porn work fresh and exciting?
Well, I don't really see it as “work” in the traditional sense. Instead, it’s about finding the right chemistry with my co-stars, and that's when the magic happens. It's not about being pretentious, but more about the fact that I probably don't know how to 'act' in any conventional way. It's also true that it doesn't always work out. Sometimes the chemistry just isn't there, and that can be really tough. I hope it doesn't show on camera when that happens. But seriously, I believe in capturing that spark in the scenes with others. It requires producers who allow freedom for those of us in front of the camera to experiment and feel safe enough to try different things. That's it, I guess… It's about being genuine in the moment and making each interaction as authentic as possible, even when the chemistry isn't naturally there.
Tell us about your journey to first joining the world of adult entertainment. How did you come to this business?
My entry into this world was like slipping on a banana peel — a totally unrealistic event! I had never done porn before, and suddenly, Steven Cruz from Raging Stallion contacted me on Facebook, asking if I wanted to come to the USA to do a couple of scenes. A couple of days before the release, Steven sent me the DVDs of the films we’ve been shooting over there and each cover for them. I couldn’t believe my eyes — I was on the cover! I freaked out and messaged Steven and told him he couldn't use them, what if people recognized me? I guess I was a bit naïve to think my little adventure would be kept a secret and that my performance wouldn't go beyond that. Anyway, the day after that scene was released, I woke up to hundreds of messages on Facebook. That scared the living daylights out of me, haha. The producers must have seen something in me too because they asked me to come back. And honestly, it was really fun to shoot. Everyone on set was great and I had a great time — it didn't feel like work at all.
After about two years of “freelancing in porn”, Lucas Entertainment asked if I wanted to work exclusively with them, and well, as they say, the rest is history. But something not everyone knows is that I've kept my old job throughout this time, and I still have it today. So it's not like I've been lounging in a pool in California, sipping drinks for 10 years, and doing a few scenes here and there. It's been intense at times, but never something I've fully identified myself with 100%.
You started in the business later than most performers. What took you so long?
You know, for the first 37 years of my life, I was living a completely different story. I grew up and lived in a small town in the far north of Sweden, played hockey, and lived what you could call a very heterosexual (and somewhat dull) life. It was at the age of 37 when I realized I was gay. That realization led me to move to a larger city, where I became more open to new experiences, traveled more, and met a diverse range of people. A couple of years after that big move, I received that fateful Facebook message... So, in my gay years, I didn't get that old before I started acting! This whole life of mine has been a series of unexpected turns, but each one has brought me closer to where I am today, and I wouldn't change a thing.
You have been called “The King of All Muscle Daddies.” What does that title mean to you?
Oh, that title is really flattering and fun, but it makes me so embarrassed to talk about it. I think such titles are more about creating buzz than anything else, and Lucas Entertainment are experts at that. I've never seen myself in that light. And I definitely don't use it as a pickup line, that's for sure, haha. It's a tongue-in-cheek title, and I think it should be taken with a grain of humor. I'm just grateful for the recognition and flattered that people jerk off to me.
What do you think of this new phenomenon of Muscle Daddies becoming hugely popular with audiences?
Is it a trend now? Haha, you've caught me — I'm not very up-to-date with the industry. I mostly watch older films from the '70s, believe it or not. But now that you mention it, I have noticed an increase in younger fans calling me “muscle daddy.” It's really gratifying and a bit of a thrill to be noticed still, no matter the reason. I think it's great that men my age can be considered sexy. Being on Grindr today is just like trying to fit into other people’s long checklists of sexual requirements, don’t you think? It’s exhausting!
On a serious note, I do feel that our community can be quite judgmental and harsh towards ourselves and others at times. A tendency to categorize people into boxes, and I admit, I'm not always above it myself. It's something we should be conscious of and work on. Playing around with sexual fantasies, in bed or in porn, is great. But keep the fantasies and porn to be just that. Don’t let that define how you think of yourself or think of others. Wow, proper daddy advice right there! ;-)
Because all the fans ask, what is your favorite scene and why?
Oh, that’s easy. It was with Ace Era in 2017 in Greece. I have heard that other people liked that scene too, which shows that it is all about the chemistry. You can’t fake that. Is he still doing porn by the way, I haven’t heard of him since? Tell him hi if you interview him next!
What are your plans moving forward in the industry? Who are some performers you've yet to work with, but want to? Scenes or acts you'd like to perform?
To be honest, I am not sure! I try to keep my OnlyFans going, but with a full-time job, friends, and a puppy there’s not much time left of the day. I don’t need to make more porn, I do it for fun. So, if someone has a great offer, why not? And I still think it’s hot to hear what people’s fantasies about me are. That’s what I want my OF to be about. If I have fans, let them decide the content. I am not very imaginative and creative to keep coming up with all sorts of content like other performers there.
Please share with us the man behind Tomas Brand. Who is he? What is he about?
He is very shy and introverted. Clumsy. But kind. Haha, that pretty much sums it up…
What is your favorite thing about sex?
Sex is my way to socialize, I think. Always has been. To get to know another person through amazing sex is the best.
How do you create the best sex on film?
I have no idea… I never watch my own work because it weirds me out, so it’s hard for me to say. Maybe it is just that? Don’t watch your own work. Don’t get in your head. Just let your body do the work.
