Sorry For Asking Recap: For the Moms Part 2: Adam’s Mom

The tables have officially turned! It’s time for a very special episode of Sorry For Asking with Cole Connor and Adam Ramzi! The last episode featured Cole’s mom as the extra special guest! She shared so many fun stories and memories of Cole growing up. And talked about navigating being a mother to a son in the adult industry. Now it’s time for part two of the Sorry For Asking: For The Moms saga! This week’s episode features Adam’s mom, Maral! And she is live in the studio!

Adam started by mentioning that he just returned from Burning Man, which coincides with his mom’s birthday every year! So he presented her with flowers. How sweet! Maral talked about how Adam was a great kid. He’s also in the middle of the lineup, with an older sister, and younger twin brothers. Adam talked about being musically inclined growing up. He learned to play piano and would always watch Mary Poppins. Maral talked about how Adam loved musicals as a kid and would quote them.

Cole asked Maral if she knew Adam was gay growing up. She mentioned thinking about it once when he was really young but not really knowing until he came out. Maral talked about growing up with so many gay friends and witnessing all of their coming out experiences. She talked about experiencing the AIDs epidemic and losing so many friends. Maral talked about a friend of hers who lost two partners. She talked about how grateful she was that Adam grew up in a time when it was more socially acceptable to be gay.

Adam talked about figuring out that there were porn channels on the TV growing up. He told a really funny story about his younger brother figuring out that channel 39 was the porn channel on the TV. That segued into Maral finding out that Adam was doing porn. She said she just wanted to be the first to know. She didn’t want to be surprised by finding out about her son from someone else. And she said she just wanted to make sure that this was what Adam wanted to do. Maral said she made sure Adam didn’t feel like there was nowhere else to turn. She also was happy that Adam still got his Master’s degree, since he can use it to do all kinds of things in the future.

This episode was so wholesome and sweet! I loved hearing from Maral and learning so much about Adam’s upbringing. We stan a supportive mom!
