Unlike most other celebratory months, Hispanic Heritage Month is actually celebrated from mid-month to mid-month. From September 15th to October 15th, the country celebrates and honors the contributions of its great Hispanic Americans. And you can't honor that history without honoring the deep roots of Hispanic Americans who are also members of our LGBTQ+ fam. Here's a look at just a few of the seemingly-endless list of Queer Hispanic celebs.
Wilson Cruz

For a lot of the the younger generation, they only know Wilson Cruz as Angel from the musical RENT, or as Dr. Hugh Culber on Star Trek: Discovery. But if you're of a certain age like myself, then you first adored Cruz as Ricky Vasquez in the iconic TV show My So-Called Life. But however you know him, you know that he is bonkers hot. He was adorable as Ricky, was sexy AF as Angel, and gawdamn he's gotten hot as hell today. Whew.

The son of Mexican immigrants, Guillén is most recognizable as the hilarious Guillermo What We Do In the Shadows (Hulu), and Nightwing in Harlequin (Max), but if you want to see some badass lewks, then go do a deep-dive on his IG page.

Somebody call the Water Cop, because gays everywhere are THIRSTY for Johnny Sibilly. He made a name for himself as an absolutely hilarious content creator, but he quickly and impressively made the shift to major media. He starred in Hacks as the sexy water cop and in Pose before being cast in the third iteration of Queer as Folk. Besides being a really solid actor, he's also just so damn beautiful. We stan.
Ricky Martin

Listen... Ricky Martin may have been living la vida dramatica this last year, but I'm no man's judge. And no one can deny that Martin has remained one of the biggest names in the world of music and entertainment for nearly three decades. The world fell in love with him as a young singer, our knees trembled when he famously came out of the closet as gay in 2010, and we were damn impressed with what good performance he delivered as Gianni Versace's long-time lover Antonio D'Amico in FX's The Assassination of Gianni Versace.
Guillermo Díaz
"Fuck you! Fuck you! Fuck YOU! You're cool! And fuck you, I'm out!" If you remember that reference then two things: 1.) I'm sorry about your lower back pains and newly-failing eyesight, and 2.) Were you as excited as I was when you first heard the rumors that Guillermo Díaz from Half Baked was gay? Because, whew, he was an early crush for sure. Díaz has acted steadily for the last 30 years, and now the Scandal star become sexy to a new generation of Queers everywhere by starring as Edgar in Billy Eichner's Bros.
Michaela Jaé Rodriguez

Michaela Jaé (M.J.) Rodriguez is decidedly one of the hottest stars in Hollywood. The Emmy-nominated actress made history as the first out-trans performer to ever be nominated for the award for her performance as Blanca Rodriguez-Evangelista in the smash hit series Pose; she would go on to win a Golden Globe for the role, again making history as the first trans performer to win the award. She then proved her absolutely badass singing and theatre chops starring as Audrey in the West Coast production of Little Shop of Horrors, followed by the cult smash hit Saturday Church, which is rumored to be in development for a Broadway musical with music by Sia.
Julio Torres

Julio Torres is not only one of the funniest and most unique minds working in Hollywood today, but he's also one of the sexiest. I sometimes forget just how hot Torres is, and then I see pics like the one above and I'm quickly reminded. Though he used to write for SNL, Torres is most known for the show Los Espookys which he co-created and starred in, and for his smash his comedy special, My Favorite Shapes by Julio Torres.
